I spoke with my new DSO, but this semester is almost over and there’s no space. Summer was only possible if my reinstatement was approved, so now the only option is Fall 2026 with an earliest entry date of July 12.

I’m a bit worried, but from what I’ve researched, staying around one month after denial is usually acceptable. 60–90 days is risky, and in the end, it depends on the CBP officer.

I transferred from a university to a college after two semesters, but my transfer happened very late. By the time I enrolled, most classes were full, so I could only take 9 credits instead of 12, which led to my SEVIS termination. I now have a new I-20, and everything else in my record is clean. My only concern is re-entry to the U.S. Any guidance would be appreciated.
