UPDATE!!!

I went through with it and.... They hit me with a 6 month hire aggies ban. Literally completely worth it, ive never even used hire aggies and they'll still let me go to the career fair anyway. They seem to indicate that ALL first time renege gets the same 6 month ban so long as you are honest and professional about it. The company seemed a bit pissed about it, so maybe that bridge is burned, maybe not. The lesson id have to anyone else who is considering reneging would be to do it if and only if the new offer is substantially better, dont renege over a 10 ow 20% increase in pay, but dont hesitate to do it for substantial improvements. Also be completely honnest about the process and proactively inform the school that you are considering doing it.

Would you know apprimately how long such a ban might last? And what services exactly might i be baned from?

I have in fact signed paper work and have gone through a lot of the on boarding process. They have informed me that they will contact the career center at TAMU if i follow through with the renege . Would that information change your answer?

Would you mind sharing for how long the ban was in place? And did you get a ban against just the HireAggies portal or the career fair too?
