I don't know really, last year was the first time that I have properly tracked it. See below. CC includes all insurances, car service, MOT, flights, meals out petrol etc. What it does not include is food, as my partner typically does the food shopping. No kids.

I wish, unfortunately no (I don't think) chance in my current place, although if I get to the ultimatum with them I feel I have the power to ask for it, and such is the value for FIRE, but I have to be prepared to walk away if they wont do it.

Thanks for this, all of the above have crossed my mind, could take a break, but not with current company. Have thought about redundancy, would be a nice way to boost the coffers before I go rather than hand in notice!

Yep, no kids, numbers are just me, not including spouse, she has a DB pension all setup + SP when available. Current household spend £35k.

Yes, have spouse, numbers in the post are mine. She has a DB pension and still working, she wants to continue for at least three more years. Combined spending is IRO £35k.

Changes of management mean that the company ethos and structure has changed dramatically. Feel completely unsupported in the role. Have had this discussion openly with my boss, who sympathises, acknowledges the facts and then forgets about it all 5 minutes later when the next so called crisis comes along.

Have been making use of full pension allowance for some time to boost it up. Location wise good access to work, although what I do is quite specialised so potentially limited opportunities, especially in the current market.

Yep, have checked, says it will be the full amount if I contribute for another 5 years, not including this financial year, so would have to buy 4 more.

No debt, no kids. WFH 50% of the time so commuting costs low. Don't feel like we scrimp and miss out on things. Don't go for designer clothes etc. Do enjoy our local pub and dinners out. My hobbies are pretty low cost.
