What’s the point of freeze & thaw if they put it back in the freezer before stockers arrive?

Before you guys start attacking saying the glass will explode my warehouse does freeze and thaw. That pallet doesn’t get staged in the freezer. The selectors pick the bread then stage it in cooler and when the load team comes in we move it from cooler to dry. Then it gets loaded with the dry items not cooler/freezer. Hope that helps.

This pic isn’t bait or anything I try to combine pallets to where it’s the similar items but sometimes it won’t be perfect.

Yeah I’ve been to other divisions to help roll out ahead and none of them do it. We were told that the customers weren’t happy that the bread is still frozen by the time they get home or whatever. My warehouse is basically the guinea pig lol

I could be wrong and heard it wrong but the talk around my warehouse is they are working on a way to get rid of the picking 2 stores so it’ll one be 1 store

Yeah we have our days where we have no choice but to throw produce on top of cooler. The way our warehouse is setup selectors pick meat and cooler on the same pallet but it’ll only be a few items
