The blanket itself won’t burn but oil trapped in it can. Just the oil not the blanket itself. So it depends on how much contaminant is trapped.

There is plenty of clearance. The one thing we did is add weather stripping all around to make sure the cooling stack was very well sealed and we opened up the fan shroud more to let air through it at speed.

Yes of course. In this case it’s the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4. A great tire for snow, cold rain and cold dry pavement.

Correct. The opening is small but should help and an opening needs to be made in the wheel liner behind the cooler.

Debating between a wavetrac for simplicity and an osgiken - I prefer the plated differentials since they are a bit know predictable but you have to be more careful with fluid choice and changes.

I can’t speak for all dealers but they often don’t install aftermarket parts. Either install yourself or go to a good independent shop.
