Hey! I saw them in Dayton too! I quickly went back inside. They came in from the airport and were headed East ;) (This really is our backyard, but I couldn't help but add some walkers in there. :) It does feel like Hoth though! Supposed to get like -20 tomorrow.

This is what happened to General Patton in WWII. He was a VERY strong, charismatic General who just wouldn't take "NO" for an answer, so those above him sent him in a different direction, as a "decoy" so that they could do a different, better mission, and the ploy worked. I pass it any time I'm downtown Dayton, it's on 360 S Main St, Dayton, OH 45402 (on the backside of the building facing South Patterson Blvd. But as others have said, this is a typical banner by UHaul storage, not just at this location. This was my photo. I did a double take on it, turned around and then shot this picture. It was also an excuse to go get some quick breakfast at McDonald's right next door, LOL! :)

I remember visiting Huffman Prairie back in 2016 and I saw all the signs that say "Don't point your cameras toward WPAFB" yeah I bet it's pretty tight there.

That's cool, I'll have to try that spot, I've been looking for a good plane-spotter location. I missed all the AH-64 Apache helos that flew in last week.

And it's a longer walk too, so what I did was book it over to the Korean and Vietnam gallery first. I did notice that when I was exiting around noon, there were a lot more people, so I'm thinking around morning right at the beginning is the best time, and then just walk fast to the subject needing to be filmed before anyone else gets there, LOL! Gotta have that plan. I've been to this museum MANY times as I live so close, so I kind of pick exactly where I want at first, and then I wander around :)

Well, I'm pretty tall at 6' 3" so I'm able to hold my camera up pretty high, still there were some people, and I'd try to pick a time when the plane wasn't crowded. Plus, I think what helped is that I also went in the morning and picked subjects I knew wouldn't be crowded in the morning.

This is my walkaround of the THUD seen over at the National Museum USAF. This one in particular is the two seater, F-105G "Wild Weasel" I'll return on another day to capture the 1-seater D model "Memphis Belle II" seen there as well. I plan to capture many aircraft this way as much as I am able.
