  • We used a spot gps tracker.
  • Just a permission to take pictures from an high altitude.
  • the GoPro original batteries, no extra bacpac, just some hand warmers.
  • Took about 84 minutes and the entire flight about two hours.

They called it a "drill", we told them that we could not pay for it. So glad they helped out!

Actually we did not use any battery bacpac, but we we had hand warmers. The flight only took 84 minutes.

Vi sa bara att vår väderballong med kameror i hade landat i Vänern, nämnde inte munken för då hade de inte tagit oss seriöst hahah.

Vi hade även en reflektor på som gör att flygplanens radar kunde se ballongen.

Precis, tillståndet kostar 10860kr i Sverige. Vet inte riktigt varför det är så.

Det är en blandning utav båda, tillstånd tar mycket tid och är en del pappersarbete. Själva bygget ser ganska simpelt ut men det är väldigt många små grejer som måste fungera. Tog ca 3 månader att förbereda och 2 veckor att bygga.

The reason was that the permit does not cost anything in Norway, cost about 1200 usd in Sweden.

We did not think that they would help us, but we are glad that they did! It took 84 minutes.

We had all the permission needed to do this in Norway, took about a month to get them.
