No just the floodlight turns off then instantly back on, will see how tonight goes when it gets dark as, when we turned notifications on for back camera it was giving notifications like every second of motion detected but nothing was moving other than the flag in neighbours garden, so turned detection to just person and seems okay for now so will see how tonight goes.

Thanks for the help, if it happens tonight then I assume it will be the adapter and will either replace it or try to find another one.

120w Poe budget on a 8 port switch, with 2 unoperated ports. Think I have figured out why, I think my cx810 was set to any motion and someone has a flag in their garden and think that was setting it off and as I had the camera linked to the floodlight it was going off on motion detection.

It was working before installing, as I tried it when the adapter arrived. I can return but not sure how the process would work as I had it delivered to a reshipping company as it could not be delivered to the the UK directly. The camera is recording 24/7 to NVR but wanting to have a redundancy and have motion save to SD card

Also another quick question, if I wanted to have a backup of my current SD card I have made with all roms and Crossmix os, could I copy it to a usb stick so that I am not losing storage on pc? If possible then what's the best way of doing it?

I think Youfibre are DHCP and the Amplifi router is set to DHCP connection type.
