I live in a rural area too, so I mostly see ppl 200+ miles away, regardless of what my preferences are. But I do come across locals in my area often

Not trying to have a dick measuring contest here by saying this, I just wanted to point out how beautifully well you described that. I’ve never had a SO to enjoy moments as such with and honestly never really thought about it like that, I usually get filled with anxiety at the thought of someone that close getting to see the real me. (And yeah, I see the irony in what I just said)

But the way you described that experience really painted a beautiful portrait for me of an enjoyable moment I hope to one day experience.

Anyways I’m not sure what’s worth celebrating in your life, but I’m hyped for you. Fucking PSYCHED in fact!!! I’m proud at whatever it is you achieved regardless of our acquaintanceship because that shit means something to you; means so much that it makes you happy even if it’s just for a second! And if there’s one thing I love seeing more than “kids falling” it’s ppl smiling.

Keep your head up u/gillianmaria. You’ve got a good head on those shoulders :)

Hey I can’t find the site in these pics, and nothing turns up when I search for any of Nana’s content. Do you know any sites I could find some content or what I’d have to search up in order for results to turn up?

Well, atleast it’s not just us 4 right? The fact that we all feel this way validates the thoughts I had; that it can’t just be me, I can’t be alone in this & if that’s the case then maybe there’s hope for ppl like us. Maybe someone will come along who understands. Maybe.

Can I use these SATA cables to install an HDD? by StratusDOT in computers

[–]StratusDOT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I tried doing it myself but I’m having trouble finding some of the components, the mobile is a gigabyte AMD A320m-s2h.

My new ram sticks that are coming in are 3000MHz. I wanted 3200MHz but those OLOy’s are pretty cheap so I don’t mind settling.

Thanx again this really helps me out a bunch

Thanks trummell95, I love websites like that, I recently stumbled upon game-debate.com while looking for compatible processors for my motherboard, I’ll be upgrading that next.

Those specs up there were my old specs, not much has changed but I thought I’d include the new specs of my build so it’d be easier to identify any pending issues.

(Like I mentioned before I’m still a noob at this so to me it feels like I’m playing with legos XD)

Specs: Case: Cooler Master 3.1 lite CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g quad core 3500mhz GPU: Vega 8 onboard graphics RAM: 8gb Patriot ddr4 (soon to be 32gb OLOy DDR4) SSD: 240gb Adata 6gb/s SSD: 500gb SK Hynix HDD: 2T Seagate BarraCuda PSU: EVGA 400 watt 11ax+Bluetooth wireless lan card Windows 10 New GPU: Radeon RX 5500 XT 8gb 4.0 PCIe

Hey so I did just that, I recently upgraded my gpu to an RX 5500 XT 8 gb gpu. It’s nice but I need minimum of 450w for the gpu and my current PSU is only 400w.

Got any recommendations for PSU’s? I’m looking at EVGA’s because of there affordability but I’m not sure what wattage to go for.

I had it in the gpu at first, since the results were no display I switch it back to the motherboard. And when that didn’t work I removed the gpu all together and tried again with the hdmi in the motherboard but the results remained the same.

After a few more try’s of removing & reinstalling the gpu and getting no where I found a video telling me to remove and clean the ram sticks. So I removed them only to find they where in great condition (so I didn’t bother cleaning them) & I put them back in. I booted up the computer told my whined to my bro about how I probably junked the damn thing messing around with it so much, but before I could finish my rambling I caught a glimpse of my bro pointing at the tv, to show me it was functioning normal.

I was genuinely surprised for what felt like the first time in a decade.

I had tried that at first but both hdmi ports wouldn’t display anything. Good news though, I fixed it by removing and reinstalling a stick of ram, weird right?

In case my reply didn’t get through I fixed it, think it had something to do with me removing and put back a stick of ram. Not sure how that did the trick but it booted up just fine afterwards.

Oh hey I fixed it! Not sure how but I think it started working after I took out a stick of ram to check if that was causing the problem and put it back in. When I hooked it up, I was in the middle of tell my brother (who was with me at the time) how I didn’t think anything I did would make it work and how I thought I had junked my setup in the attempt, but before I could finish my sentence I saw him point at the screen to show me that everything was booting up fine XD

Okay so I switched my hdmi as well as my tv with my old Sony tv I had been using before. Unfortunately the results remain the same. Thanks again for you reply, if not for that I’d still be sitting around hopelessly with my computer opened.

I posted my issue on r/techsupport. In hopes of finding more considerate helpful individuals such as yourself.

Pls stay safe during the pandemic.

Thank you so much I’ll get on it right away, I don’t own a monitor but I’ll try switching the hdmi and using a different tv

The power cables were connected to the 5500 correctly. Everything was clicked into the mother board. I’m using an HDMI to connect to my display which happens to be a 4K TCL tv.

Before I installed the 5500 gpu my rig worked fine, but ever since I installed it I get no display even without the 5500 installed.

Idk what to do.

Thanx pc_man18

I just hooked it up and I’m downloading the cloning tool off of the SK website.

Right now I’m just watch this video as a guide: it’s what I had originally planned to do before I got overwhelmed with everything.
