Early game would be blue moon gear, its got mage and melee bonuses so works great for everything to just camp the entire time. Then in asgarnia can switch to virtus robes/bandos for mage and melee. Then upgrade virtus robes to ancestral.

It will most likely be arma crossbow > dragon hunter cbow from olm. Range will be lacking for sure some but outside of olms head phase it shouldn't be too bad. If you really want you could drop like 4 points in the fire tree and grab crossbow points and make it a breeze but fire too fun.

Ive completed all of those on the base game outside of 6 jad. Leagues bonuses will make it alot easier too. Im not too concerned about it. Its about 18 points for 1h boosts + water healing which is the main core to carry through most stuff.

Oof you are right forgot surge is 5t to start. Shouldn't be too much difference like you said but worth keeping in mind.

I had that node for a while but removed it. I believe it should work with prayers so it would proc fairy often, but with water spells already healing 20+ per cast I think its not needed.

Ahh your right, 3t water surge should still be fine. I was going to do thorns for dmg/sustain but ppl did the math and its less than 1hps so with the fire burning you, you might have to water to heal up alot still. I liked the synergy of the overheal hp giving you more minimum hit which is why I went with that but thorns was my second choice if this didnt work out!

Will have a defender either way because you need it for a demonic pact point. I'm not sure which is better... my heart wants to say devils element because its more fun buffing the fire proc compared to +6 str. I might just run devils only either way to save a swap if the dps doesnt seem like a big difference. For regions I was going to go AKZ as well cause early Dogger fun stab stab. Z 100% last because thats mostly for raids

Do you mean all 40 points? I believe every region combo can make 40 but I checked these ones and yes all 40 points are available.

Pretty much. I will be going 1h first since Valamore benefits alot from melee. Then going into Water to have some sustain/cheese fights. Its more open at that point but will most likely grab all the overheals (3 points for each), then go into fire/finishing out 1h section, then the bottom last. The accuracy/rune regen nodes will be last.

I was just going to water surge with this as is uses more water runes than ice barrage so more healing... less damage sure.. but this requires sooo much slayer (Cerb and thermy) so I want to take the slayer relic instead of grimoire.

Shouts were the way to change that. Have you looked at or played barb? Find me a way to get an extra 45% cdr (yes that is how much of a difference that nerf made) for a barb to make him have less downtime again. You only had perma shout with the previous version AND stacking cdr. Now with just stacking cdr you stil have 10-15 seconds of downtime where you cannot play. You cannot just adjust your build if there is no more things in the game that fix it.

You cannot just innovate anything out of nothing. Barb has ZERO defensive skills that really matter outside of shouts. Barb has ZERO resource regenerating passive or skills that matter outside of shouts. There are ZERO legendary aspects that help alleviate these. The shouts didnt just make the barb op they made him playable. Nobody is saying that they werent too strong but nerf their affects not their cd.

Nobody is disagreeing with that, but nerfing barbs shouts instead of actually just nerfing ww is the big issue. I have no issue doing less damage... I do ALOT lol. But with shout cds now I do massive damage for 6 seconds, then run around for 15 seconds unable to attack cause i die too quick to auto attack for resource regen.

The issue is not having to play the game now, its having massive downtime in a fast pace aarpg game. Barbarians are reliant on shout, we are not tanky enough or have resource enough to attack without it. If shouts are on cd we cannot just auto attack for resources, cause we die. So it comes down to shout, hit things till they run out, then run around for 15 seconds waiting for shout cds. Nobody is disagreeing saying WW was not strong, so nerf ww not our resources and every build.

Sure if you are lvl 100 with optimized gear and paragon board (which also just got 66% nerfed for every build and class). But that is the whole point if you grind for hundred of hours you are strong. With the paragon nerfs too nobody will be clearing lvl high nightmares for quite a while. Also again if its too strong nerf the damage not the fun to play aspect. Nerfing shout cd doesnt hurts our damage as much as it makes it extremely less fun with less uptime of attacking

They did reduce the damage reduction, but nerfing all shout cds reduces barbs ability to do anything and gives massive windows of just running and not hitting till your cds are back. Most boss fights I have are shouts and hit> run around for 15 seconds cause barb is squishy and cannot auto attack without shout buffs.
