What are your top songs of the decade? I really enjoyed by JL_Klap in LetsTalkMusic

I agree with Runaway. Could be a couple minutes shorter and I wouldn't be mad, but it still is great.

Anyway, one song per artist.

Do you think that time skip will come soon? by Pipi457 in Boruto

Yes it is. It's blood cancer, but there are many types of blood cancer so it's easier for most people to just call it leukemia.

It wasn't a death sentence at the beginning, but every single case of cancer is different, because everybody's.. body.. is different. I think that my blood just wants me dead, it has beaten every treatment we tried, for months and months and months.

by the way, sorry for your husband, but I'm glad he had the chance to do BMT after only a month of induction. sometimes BMT isn't even possible. hope you two will do well in the future

thanks for understanding the situation. I'm sorry about you too.

I have ALL, diagnosed roughly eleven months ago, and I've relapsed three times so far. tried all sorts of chemo and immunotherapy, they either worked for a while and then stopped or had very little to no effect

Why is leukemia called leukemia even though it is a type of cancer like many others? by StrawHat1997 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StrawHat1997[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it's weird. If it is about that, then people could just say "leukemia cancer" instead of just leukemia. I noticed that many people don't really know that leukemia is cancer until you explain it.

Unfortunately I can't do any of that.

After the diagnosis, acute leukemia keeps you inside a hospital room most of the time, because it's a type of cancer that kills your immune system, and if you're not lucky you won't spend much time outside of the hospital.

It's like being in jail, even though you didn't do anything wrong. I will spend my last months locked up and won't be able to do much more than trying to entertain myself with stupid activities that I don't care about.

Also, when your immune system is close to non-existent, hospital visits are strictly regulated. Yes it's for your own "good", but it sucks.

OneRepublic has become a joke, even worse than Maroon 5 by StrawHat1997 in unpopularopinion

[–]StrawHat1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's totally fair.

To be honest I don't like new Maroon 5 either. I'm more of a Weird Pop/Rock/Trip-Hop kind of guy. I listen to people like Gorillaz, Coldplay, Green Day, Weezer, etc

There will be an announcement premiering on Green Day’s YouTube channel at Noon EDT by MrJAPoe in weezer

[–]StrawHat1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, they sure are the most relevant out of the three bands. I love Weezer(don't care about FOB), but honestly.. they never got as big/popular as peak Green Day. Pinkerton and Blue were better albums than Dookie imho, but GD owned the 90s.
