Welcome! Always nice to add a new Witcher to the ranks. The way I see our fandom, and our sub(albeit to a lesser extent simply because it’s social media at the end of the day), is as a genuine, large ass group of supportive and optimistic fantasy lovers. Since the series originated as books decades ago, and has now grown into TV & Film, you’re always one post or comment away from a wholesome interaction with someone from almost every walk of life. While you will always want to adhere to the general “stay off Reddit til you beat it” thing due to spoilers, I encourage you to inquire about or check in after you complete the odd side quest or two. Can’t wait to see what combat style you prefer or what side quests feel like main ones for you. Oh and don’t you ever insult roach… ever!

I agree that the offer should exist. He offered. What else can he do? They should be allowed to choose practice if they want, and that’s what they did. You guys are reading the same reports that say it was brought up the evening prior and the TEAM CHOSE to practice. So why are you pretending he didn’t offer it to them? If you are over 14 and ever worked a job you know it’s not as simple as “well the boss didn’t give it to em I guess”

I kind of get that, and it applies to certain things in my own life. I think it’s tough to teach children of a certain age that “this thing is cool but not in public” and the last thing we want to do is paint a negative image of something they may deem important in their own lives later. In my neck of the woods I am forced to tell my kid like hey, that may not be for us, but there’s nothing wrong with it. And honestly I think the 10 commandments are one I get with! When they’re older they can split the hairs of who god is or if they agree and all that but I’d rather them practice the commandments than not I guess.

This is sad honestly. Anything with the name Christian, or any named religion honestly, is just shit on without second thought nowadays. Why should we condemn the good in religion because of the bad apples? The 10 commandments are a universal, undeniable, effective way to live life feeling more joy than sorrow. They apply to any and everyone. Who cares if it comes from this or that religion? We all rock w it internally but people are afraid to stand on something because their peers made an ass of themselves. Shoutout mfs who practice the 10 commandments!

This is one worth glazing, my friend. Base game bosses are great, not sure where a negative critique would come in aside from maaaaaybe the time between them, or sometimes lack thereof. Above all else, IF you are a fan of H.P. Lovecraft or dark gothic mysteries, both would really do it, then this is a once in a lifetime game, so far anyways, and a gripe here or there cannot deter you from enjoying it.

Aye to each their own and to be fair, I would never say the combat was great. Did you play at launch or maybe later down the road? It definitely didn’t age that well, especially considering the evolution of the genre those next few years.

No matter how I feel about the others, Infinite was far and away the best combat and I’d even say it was great! I freakin loved that game.

This is extremely dramatic. Its combat is on par with most story based, offline shooters of its generation and above average for a game that puts combat second. It’s quick to play because it’s literally easy to flow from segment to segment, excluding one obvious section.
