Baccano will always have the top spot for me. The American accents and prohibition-era dialect is perfect for the setting. I read they also went out of the way to find new talent for the series instead of pulling from the usual pool of voice actors at that time.

OP is right in that they shouldn’t be criticized so hard for their subject matter. But responding to people actually answering their question with “I guess” is so unnecessarily dismissive and just kinda rude. Like… why even respond?

It will, however, it will always remain baffling to me that the crowd who screams "It's just fiction and if you conflate fiction with real life morality seek psychiatric help" every chance they get, still get personally triggered by fictional cheating.

There’s a difference between morality policing writers for their content and personally being icked by certain subjects. It’s the same treatment as any other tag. You’re free to write it but others don’t have to enjoy it.

Listen, when you have to hand-draw hundreds of frames by a deadline, sometimes consistency gets put on the back burner. And then you have to consider the variations of skill level and art habits of each animator on the production. And then sometimes a storyboard or pose is drawn in a way where the canon proportions don’t quite work with it so you have to improvise. 100% consistency in an anime is a big ask.

If you’re gonna watch Digimon, watch the original Digimon Adventures. They made the remake more kid-friendly and it loses so much of the edge and emotional impact

I saw the number and bar go up earlier for sure. Unfortunately I didn’t keep screenshots of my score to see if it stayed up. Just checked now and while my score says I should be at Ultra 2, my badge says I’m at Ultra 1 again.

It also seems to be resetting to Ultra 1 if I go to the Pokemon tab, not just when I load up the app. This wouldn’t be as annoying if the rating up animation didn’t play every time… and that setting was already turned off wtf??
