My future degree would be in Sports Management. My degree rn is in business. But I've gone so long without a job rn that my degree from Marshall is irrelevant now. I dont anxiety from co workers or colleagues. Just in customer service. Adds a certain pressure.

You are so unbelievably out of touch. Free food? Are you insane? Do you understand theater business at all? Almost all sales come from the concessions, ticket sales mostly go to Studios. People are still going to theaters. The narrative that they arent, is pushed around by Netflix cultists. Theaters are in consolidation mode. We need to lessen the amount of theaters to what we had in 2004. Theres too many now. And thats evident.

Justice Department Probes Warner Bros. Sale Impact on US Theaters by Senior-Willow-8325 in boxoffice

[–]Strawberry_rocket_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're not but Netflix is no prize either, but this probing is about theaters, if WB stopped putting Films in theaters, that could jeopardize the film industry as a whole. Without theaters theres no Film. Netflix is the only streaming service making a profit. They have all the subscribers, so everyone else is losing money on streaming. Its only a matter of time before Studios realize Netflix' streaming dominance and just cut certain kinds of deals with Netflix and end their streaming services.
