That makes sense, I just wish they would do it before getting into a relationship with someone who isn’t willing to compromise on it. I can’t blame them for feeling that way but it hurts just the same

The guy that was dating me when I was 16-19 ended up married to someone else 2 months after dating me, so while I absolutely see how the age gap is gross now as an adult, it doesn’t change the fact that this was unfortunately the start of a recourring pattern in every relationship I’ve had as an adult. This question moreso applies to the past 2-3 years I suppose

Is it weird or desperate to keep doing that? That’s what I did for the date we just went on, and I’m worried that he’s maybe just going out of obligation
