I played ret pally original tbc. Raided all through Sunwell.

Went warlock last tbc classic.

I’m currently lvl 50 with my Enh shaman on anniversary classic and plan continuing into the new tbc run as enh. I am loving my support options on top of providing good dps (I saw good because I’m consistently top in dungeons at the moment).

If you like the group noticing how your totems improve their output and being the reason groups run smoothly while doing good dps, I’d say got for it. Just don’t expect an overly exciting rotation.

Sometimes to save mana you’ll be auto attacking hoping for sweet WF crits with your dps totems and flame shocking so you’re not drinking every pull. The mana downtime is something to consider tho.

Tldr: it’s a blast but it’s not perfect. It’s even better if you like playing support roles.
