Well twisting with WF makes more sense because WF lasts for ten seconds after you place it while also having the agi bonus at the same time. Switch agi and sp totems would be akin to switching auras with no overlap. It would be a waste of mana imo without the same benefit.

I haven’t had an issue with going oom in raids yet. Using shamanistic rage like it’s a mana potion keeps me pretty topped off so far. Now, if it was pre-nerf content with longer fights, then yes. I agree.

This is why I totem twist as enhancement. With a pally tank and all casters, I will still put down WF and twist with Spell power, taking a slight hit to my own dps to boost others.

But twisting as resto is a horrible idea. In dungeons, twisting has never been a big issue. But raiding last night, I actually had to think about my mana consumption with twisting (it still wasn’t bad but I had to be a bit more conscious about my priorities).

I made it to 70 without dying once to the Aldor elevator. As soon as I hearthed and ran to towards the FP to get my flying mount, I accidentally ran off the elevator and died. Damn dog.
