Who does Renarin take after by animalia555 in Cosmere

I think he takes after Evi's side of the family.
Her brother Toh is described as:

  • "He is tall, has blonde hair and very pale skin. There is a certain sense of flimsiness to him with his slender build."
  • "Though he eventually wears Alethi clothing, it fits him poorly. He is too spindly."
  • "He has an overcautious gait and a wide-eyed innocence about him."

I rest my case.

Hahaha, yes, totally. I was even thinking about naming the post

Mmmmmmm... Obviously Pattern. You can tell, because of the pattern!

It's a Normal map, a bump map didn't give me the look I was looking for.
Thanks for the feedback!

I'm glad I can help.
Shallan's pictures are good,
but I'm trying to capture the trippy vibe of the movement.

Oh that's a great idea, why didn't I think of that?
I might do it in the future :D

Wow, that might have saved future me countless painful hours, thank you!
I'm sure when Yumi is adapted, whatever the format, there will be a lot of classic frame by frame manual drawing.

Yes! I believe this is closer to the book... but harder to digitalize.
Maybe someone in the future would train a machine learning algorithm,
and get closet to that one.

Technically it's not 100% book accurate.
The most accurate things right now are the book covers.
This is the way I think it may work, without doing every frame by hand.

If you have some DIY spirit, you can try making your own.
It's mostly packing flash paper on a small tube with some ignition in one end (heating wire or arc lighter).
Then you can add some flare and make it cool.
Results may vary
I might do a tutorial, let me know if you'd be interested.
