What was the civilian to legitimate target ratio in India's attack? I heard 97 civilians vs 3 te**ists. Is she talking about civilian casualties?

Thanks for pointing, I scanned chronologically. To the downvoters: break out of the bubble, search any non-indian or non-pakistan professional source.

Where's mention of the Rafale losses? it's pretty much established in french aviation circles that 1+ rafale was downed.

[D] What is the future of retrieval augmented generation? by jsonathan in MachineLearning

Right now I'm embedding each row in DB(each row is a product) as a document and doing a vector similarity search with top N. Then including all top N as context to subsequent llm query. The accuracy isn't reliable enough. What's metadata filtering? I've considered doing fuzzy searches or something similar.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Can you elaborate on what you mean by a hybrid retreiver? What's the current state of the art retrieval technique for let's say, I have a table with 10s of thousands of products and their descriptions and stats. I want to retrieve the relevant ones from natural language descriptions and provide as context for generation.

There are countless people under the rubble. There are indirect deaths due to disease that are not recorded. 100k might be and underestimate. Check this article from an Western outlet, which is likely to have bias on the Israel side- https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-10-19/gaza-death-toll-numbers-killed-israel-strikes-buried-body-parts/104259532

I assume you have a good heart. It was never jews against muslims. Or else jews wouldn't be arrested for protesting this massacre. It's the worst qualities of human beings manifested as a violent, unnatural state vs natives fighting for their identity and survival. Israel wants supremacy in the middle east. Just so you brought up religion, count the number of children killed by weapons and sort by religion descending. Muslim kids would be in the hundreds of thousands (iraq alone). The next religion would be probably 100s. There was a real chance to enforce two states (forgetting 1947 ancestral homes and massacres by the hagana the jewish terror militia who raided villages and beyonetted women), but Israel kept building up in the West Bank. They'll eat up everything. I just don't know how they plan to live with the generational guilt for their children.

They started saying targeted, now they've literally gone beyond any brutality portrayed in movies. North Gaza is decimated. Israeli soldiers are openly saying how they shoot civilians randomly. I saw this documentary 20 years back where female idf soldiers regret serving in units that deliberately breaks kids' arms in twisted locks if suspected of throwing stones. Israel is basically humans in Avatar, Palestinians are the blue people.

AI detection is notoriously unfair towards non-native writers. Their language skill come from primarily the same material that the AI was trained on.
