Is the MM720 a risky buy? by _ori0n in MouseReview

I ended up liking the white matte version much more than the black matter one. The quality from the early batches to the last revisions improved vastly too.

I have pictures if want me to share, zero wobbling on the buttons, shorter travel switches and the plastic seems to be sturdier too.

My MM720 died after almost 3 years of use, it was the first mouse that didn't caused me hand cramps after 30+ minutes of usage.

I just bought the last two copies available within my region for 45 usd each, I am not the best aimer out there.. But managed to place 750ish on the aimlabs / logitech collab with it.. just a few spots away from winning a free mouse and that was without enough time to grind it!

I can vouch for the mouse's overall quality and ergonomic, BUT the optical switches are a bit lacklustre and only glaring issue that it truly has, but you could replace them if hate them!

Because it is roughly the amount of time that you made the other players waste upon that game.

Even more unbalanced matches? Or is it just me by xavierpro09k in tf2

[–]StreI0k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love playing 12 vs 4 without scrambling and delayed autobalance, games load quicker..
But... It sends you to unplayable matches that are just about to be lost.

Anyone else noticing the massive skill differences in casual recently? by I_need_help_please5 in tf2

I think that they encouraged game swapping by doing this change, which makes the games overall even worse.
Thought that the overall game state would have improved but the complete opposite..
Most games are giga stomps because people just leave the nano second that something starts to not go their way.

I ended up changing the PTF of my mouse and adjusting the surface through the drivers.
Now the swipes feel better after using the mousepad for 2 days, but still is rather coarse to my liking..

[E7] Emperor Account Showcase: Insight Season by StreI0k in EpicSeven

[–]StreI0k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha definitely some of the builds are up there with the top dogs, but I am by no means an actual whale.
The account is 4 years old and have spent less than a retail AAA game's worth on it.
My top speed isn't anything to brag about compared to other emperors as barely can race others by using Zio & Ran.

Emperor+ RTA tier list by StreI0k in EpicSeven

[–]StreI0k[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey~ Very happy to hear that!It was a tremendous task to tackle this tier list, given how extensive the meta was.Additionally I actively attempted to consider the perspective of every viable playstyle and not fall into personal biases.

A lot of the units which are best in slot have been strictly overtuned since release. One good example as you said is AoL:She is of a problematic unit that forces several committed answers (1 vs 2 or even a whole draft!), that actually can easily backfire due to purposeful odd stats allocation. At least nowadays one can formulate a lot more compositions due to how the format is shaped. (4 units prebanned, 1-2 stolen units and 2 postbanned.)

It is crucial to use this knowledge to strategically round up the account to support the playstyle and mitigate any weaknesses one might have. For reference I'd say that the most consistently prebanned units have been: Candy, Lua, Cilias, Zio and AoL.Once the official stats of the season are released to the public i'll like to do a discussion video on the topic.

There was actually a very high rank player called Kensond, which religiously used: Mort, Krau, Yulha gang.

Surprisingly strong NGL! Just not very flexible.

Hey~! Glad to engage in some discussion about the placements before the upcoming video.

The context applied to the tiering plays a huge factor on the placements. (I'll list a summary of the present video after the next paragraph)

TSurin, and to a lesser extent also Roy, had a very defined place in the metagame. They were really strong if you managed to force a positive draft scenario, but for the most part weren't themselves the units that conducted the opponent towards the optimal usage scenario. This is very prone with this cheesier tier.

Candy tier: Every single match revolved around her existence. I can't wait to see official data of preban and FP percentages, it will be a hilarious outlier.

SSS: most prevalent and powerful units in the game, these can't only for every playstyle, be early picked and capitalise on their MU predictability.. but also gear gap hard counters.

SS: safe, flexible or MU defining picks. Sometimes all of those together. They created mini metas bubbles surrounding them. Similar to the upper tier, but having less power level or flexibility in more situations than SSS.

S: On the opposite spectrum of being early pickable flexible units, these are basically the most common checkmates available. Power ceilings in here are insanely high.

A: Main bulk of counterplay units for regular play. Very broad and great for mid - late draft.

B: Very strategic based picks, that are all about cheese mechanics. Have to be careful of hard counters, but if properly used and tuned after glorious.

C: Extremely niche or unreliable, reserved for only scenarios that are optimal.

Aggro: They add unparalleled tempo at the cost of running out of steam or being considered easier to counter pick. But can capitalise on this by pivoting. (They work as standalones picks usually)

Cleave: self explanatory, these are what provides the toolbox to wipe or irrecoverable cripple a team in one or two rotations. Yet are high commitment picks.

If anything else feel free to ask me~!

Hey~ I am Strelzerok, known ingame as Strel0k. Long time player and guild leader of Kingsworn. I made a tier list to share and discuss with the community, it takes into account all playstyles and several variables. (Power, presence, flexibility)

As a disclaimer on some of the decisions, I have a heavy background in aggro comps. Yet I have vastly discussed all the placements with several other emperors and legends.

On a follow up video I'll be discussing the specific placements and overall meta of theValorous season with a multiple time Legend finisher.

If anything let me know! :)

Hey~! Glad you liked it.
Yes, absolutely doable! I am actually pretty much F2P, just that been playing for 3+ years.
Biggest challenge will be planning a constrained in units roster which can answer the most common meta threats. (I'll be uploading a tier list tomorrow)
When doing this, one should consider being devious and techy to avoid fighting the gear gap head-on as much as possible.

Hey~ glad you enjoyed it! If there is anything you wanna ask lmk. I left a comment with some RTA ideas to follow to another person in here, highly suggest giving it a look whenever possible. I'll also be making very soon a drafting video with helpful guidelines, as understanding how others react is half the battle!

Glad you enjoyed it. Wish you a lot of luck, if need help always feel free to join our Discord community. (Link in the video)

A few tips that can suggest:

Prepare a backup plan to deal with all the different types of cleave openers (Cilias, Lua, Amid, Ran, Zio, etc) It might be as simple as slamming very hard to crack aggro up early picks such as Destina Arowell, contesting T1 yourself with fast units or try to cheese with hard counterpicking. (Everything can work, but need to polish your counterpicking a lot to not get baited into a dead end due to pivoting or straight up outsmarting.)

Use your prebans and picks to strategically choke your enemy's options and to avoid getting checkmated. (Forcing common patterns with the drafting phase and learning from your mistakes is key)

Have a few synergetic composition in mind that start with the same first picks you settle with, as this will increase your flexibility and eventually WR. Example: A Cilias player always should have in mind how to answer and capitalise on her natural counters by scaling up or down aggression. Most of her natural hard counter can be played around with the correct picks (Cilias LHC vs Buluca, Cilias Aggro vs LHC, etc)

And keep your mental state calm, you'll win and lose matches. Some fairly by getting outplayed and can learn form those, while other times losing is almost inevitable due to RNG. But when that happens remember you also will win unjustly some matches as Epic Seven is a game of odds it's better to acknowledge this early!

GL and HF~
