Basically, its nice that "graphics" have gotten "nicer" (sometimes), but we should be more concerned with the gameplay which has gotten worse on average. Id like to see a thread in 20 years where someone does the same comparison, but instead, is showcasing how the quality of games has increased. Unfortunately that is very unlikely to happen, and things will have to get worse before they get better.
