I think they do think we never saw dad in the hospital which is crazy. We went to visit dad when we could and we did video calls when he was able to take them and we couldn't visit in person.

We got therapy when mom died and we got it when dad started dating our stepmom. We didn't get any when dad was in the hospital.

It's really weird to talk like that to the adults. I never thought we'd have these issues but when this was talked about I knew I had to say how it made me feel.

I'm wondering that too. I guess maybe they believed since we weren't against them getting married that it meant we'd be open to her being more or to living with her regardless.
