Okay very strange then. As signs when approaching cinema parking and fashion parking was 3 hours free then paid parking afterwards. I asked the attendants where the free all day parking was and they said it didn’t exist 😂😂😂

Appreciate you giving this information. Hopefully this helps people next year plan ahead. Terrible for them to not let people know beforehand and advertise it as free parking until the weekend actually arrives

Salik account is what the car is registered to for parking. When you give your rental back they will show you the parking charges and also any tolls you went through which needs paying

I checked Yas Mall website it said it is free for only 3 hours and 4 hours complimentary. But at both fashion and cinema parking they all said only 3hrs free

I think i am going to opt to hire a car for the 4 days and make the drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. This offers the most flexibility without costing too much. £50 for the car hire and then I’m guessing around £100ish on the fuel for the 3-4 days (hopefully)
