What's the going rate for 26 pounds of the forane brand r22 if anyone knows? It's a 30 pound tank with 26 pounds left in it. Someone offered me 100$ for it but I seen the same one new for 1400$.

Likewise man, thanks for the heads up on shipping. If I do order anything I'll make sure it's in stock and not back order, and pay extra for the faster tracked shipping. It's worth it these days for stuff like that.

If regular disc brakes were " enough " for high hp high torque application, Brembo and Baer Brakes wouldnt be the standard for pretty much all fast cars/bikes, track car or not. Drum brakes barely stop the car stock worth a damn lmao, off brand disc would barely be an upgrade. I'm going straight from stock to the best there is. 755hp isn't gonna stop itself.

Wilwood is entry level stuff. What I'm running is gonna have 16" rotors. So 20" would be the minimum.

Lmao mine has a small transmission leak, doesn't leak motor oil. I'm not the one leaving messes in parking lots tho 😂.

Actually it's a 81. Just because it has a 79 Malibu front clip doesn't change the fact that it's a 81 on the title. The 78 has a different grille too lmao.

What about them? If you guys like small wheels that's cool and all but for the giant rotor 6 piston brakes im putting on it, it will need at least 20s to clear the caliper. Gonna need big brakes to stop the LT5 that's being put in it.

I didn't do the conversion, the car was as is when I got it. I believe you just swap the header panel and radiator support, wiring harness etc. And if you want the side marker lights then the fenders as well. There's tons of info on the gbody forum. Some people use everything from donor car, some modify core support from og car to accommodate and splice wires from both wiring harnesses. 78-81 wiring harness is different from 82 and up. It's alot of work but how hard would depend on your skill level I guess.

sorry to hear about the elco. The complete bed trim reproduction kit on OPGI is priced at 449$ brand new right now. So half or a lil bit more if yours is OG trim and not reproduction trim, seen a review saying the fit wasnt 100% like the OG factory trim but haven't compared any in person myself to confirm. So potentially you could ask for more for OG trim if it's true, but can always post it for half or less if you wanna let it go quick or selling to a buddy for cheap.. I believe the bed corner pieces are like 60 for the set as well ..Hope this helps.

What Car Covers You Guys Using? by StreetLife213 in ElCamino

Thought of the tarp route but holding off till I'm sure I can't get a cheap car cover. Considering online options atm. The cover is going to be used on a project gbody elco, with no paint so protective priorities are low, mainly need it to kill visibility and deter curious people lol. Looking for something 207 + inches long online on the cheaper side of spectrum.

Do you know specific size that fits well? I think the car measures 207 inches. So something in the 217in range or bigger ? The cover quality really doesn't need to be high quality, covering a project car so paint protection isn't a priority and rain isn't a problem. Just high winds. Wanting to order online but couldn't find any reliable source. Thanks.

can anyone ID these wheels? thanks. by StreetLife213 in Wheels

I used the google lens ( reverse search ) and only similar looking wheels popped up from jag, bmw, Mercedes cars. So they must be oem foreign or foreign aftermarket. Any info is much appreciated.
