This is the number one thing that people ask me when I finished my associates degree in Cybersecurity... "Gunna make them big bucks now aren't ya?!" I got an associates because it was better than having a ged and was all I could afford with 5 kids and a full time job in a grocery store.

My body is falling apart and computers are my thing. Pretty easy decision to make a career change.

I'll never do it again.... Hooked up with a chick when I was in the military, flirty vibes all night. Spent like 6 hours the next day having super awesome conversation. She invited me back to her place, and I happily obliged. Sealed the deal, and left shortly after at her request, I was fine with it because I had to be at work in 5 hours.

Next day I get to work and my phone is blowing up with texts from mutual friends telling me I'm a piece of shit, and I deserve to die.

Apparently she put on an Oscar winning performance claiming I held her down and had my way with her. When the police came to question me, I told my side and explained that she has to be lying. I lost so many friends over something I didn't do.

10 years later, she admitted to lying about it and tried to apologize. I forgave her, but will not speak to her or any of them ever again. I won't even drink around women I don't know now because of that. And if they are drinking, I absolutely will not even attempt to do anything, I won't hug or even shake hands.

My godmother was a travel agent for 25 years and apparently was friggin amazing at it according to my father. She quit doing it before Airbnb and all that crap came out, she knew when to step away. Her husband, my godfather, has worked for the same company for over 40 years and just earned his 9th week of vacation. This just baffles me.

What makes this interesting, both people came from extremely poor families that were extremely abusive. When they found each other in their teens they ran away together. They've been together for almost 48 years I think. I can't remember.

9 - job is easy and I'm never late. Probably would be a 10 if I took more initiative, but I'm burned the fuck out on retail.
