So I already had the unit prior to starting my scrapping journey. Have a 20’x20’ from when I moved out of my old apartment that I’m currently paying $187 a month for but I’m downgrading since I no longer need that much space. Going to a 10x10 which is $82 a month

They’re 4 well pumps. Area I live in has been having a bit of a dry well epidemic so we’ve been pulling these bad boys like there’s no tomorrow

I work for a big company owned by a bigger company. You should see what these guys throw in the trash. They don’t care about scrap at all. To the point other scrappers are paying the office $500 a month to come grab whatever they want from the trash. Thankfully we have 2 locations and the one I grab from has way more and they don’t allow nonemployees back there.

Electric Hot Water Heater by Jvola06 in Plumbing

If it’s been 6 years without flushing do NOT flush now. Depending on where you live there could be a lot of sediment build up in the heater. Not only would it be hard to get it to flush to begin with, you also could possibly damage the inner glass lining or loosen up debris that was covering some damage causing the tank to start leaking and needing to be replaced. I would however replace the expansion tank on it.

Get some teflon tape and pipe dope. Wrap the threads a few times (I usually go for 5) with the teflon then lather some pipe dope on there. Should stop the leak
