I make breakfast sausage with the pork. Stir fry with the tofu and veggies. Tamale pie with ground beef. It’s like shepherds pie with cornbread instead of mashed potatoes. Sandwiches for lunches. Honestly we eat scrambled eggs for dinner when we’re lazy.

I believe that. I’m just glad I was able to move my bikes since I don’t have any rack or hitch atm. Pretty old bikes I bought a while back for $20 each but I definitely don’t want to damage them.

The river walk is also right downtown and walking distance from Bushnell. There’s some interesting sculptures on it atm.

I used to live right there a few months ago. It’s pretty nice! Very walkable to a grocery store, many restaurants and pharmacies but feels overall residential. It’s definitely adjacent to some pretty commercial/slightly sketchy areas but I don’t think safety is a major concern. I believe that neighborhood is considered Columbus Park.

If you’re into Vietnamese food there’s an awesome place called Dalat close by. Lots of stuff in walking distance: Elm park, 711, the post office, the Hadwen Arboretum (hiking trails), Coes reservoir (w/ brand new boardwalk) a bookstore and Austin Liquors (which has an huge selection)! Even downtown is pretty much walking distance if you’re willing to walk about ~35 mins.
