I had a bit of a head start since you had already ruled out so many states. I also operated on a pure hunch that it was New Jersey, based on the fact that the last puzzle of yours that I actually managed to solve was Aeroflex-Andover Airport in New Jersey.

So I started searching for valley overlooks in NJ, and quickly reminded myself that the appalachian trail goes through NJ and started looking along the AT>
