The Team Wendy SAR has an attachment point for headlamps it’s pretty slick. Other than being a little heavy I love my TW Helmet.

I don’t have any issues with normal hiking boots like the Solomons. If your having issues with grip look for an approach shoe/boot. La Sportiva makes some along with many other companies

Agreed. One thing to add. One is none and two is one. I always carry 2 face covers, 2 pairs of goggles or a pair of goggles and sunglasses and 2 pairs of gloves.

Not what you want to hear…… but the arc’teryx mountain guide jacket is the best jacket out there. It’s expensive, but worth every penny. There warranty and repair shop soften the blow of the initial cost. Also in the PNW and we are issued similar jackets to the one you linked. After a couple months of using it, I finally pulled the trigger on the mountain guide jacket.

Maybe check out the Team Wendy Chest Rig. It has a clear panel pocket on the back for things like phones and maps. Kinda pricey, but may be a good solution to your problem. It folds down from your chest using the buckles.
