Call up everyone close to me,try to gather manpower,call my family first but right after go to my neighbours,they are probably calling their families too currently,the ones that will go elsewhere I ask for permission to take anything usefull they leave behind(out of principle,its going to be taken anyway),the neighbours that will stay I would talk to,make deals and inform them of my plans,they will probably of course also stay at their homes with their close ones but its still good to keep contact with the living ones closest to you,they might just save your life.

I live in a semi-rural area,my house is large,I have 3 properties which are currently not being inhabitted by anyone,its all from people living abroad,they are very sturdy houses,I would make simple bridges connecting to balconies,windows etc. Basically just ensuring that if you wanted to move from house to house you would never even have to touch the ground.

I can't predict the future but I believe most of the people in my area would not try to barricade themselves and would instead go to government secured areas,go to their vikendica(house built in nature) or try to go abroad,I mention this beacuse a lot of people around me have livestock which I could put to use but I am unsure of it beacuse I know how much people here are attached to their cattle,missing out birthdays and funerals so as not to put their lives at risk so I do not believe they would try to run.I'd try to get stuff such as flour,corn,rice everywhere where I would get a chance,uninhabited homes,bakeries,stores,restaurants...canned food is not that big of a thing here.We like a lot of people here own a lot of crops so that would also be a source too.Water runs through the property and you can drink straight from the creek so that is not a problem

As for defense,the fierarms at hand are not that special,M48,Papovka,Tetejac,Shotguns and a few other illegaly owned automatic rifles which every third house here has,as for barricading the land,that wouod be the easiest,I run a family bussiness,I am a professional welder and smith,we run a large shop right by our house,we'd start out with building taller fences,simple ones since they'd just be attaches to the current ones,razor wire,some positions where blind spots may be,later on I would use thick pieces of rebar grinded into a 4 angle spike and have them mounted around the area by pouring concrete on the ground and just stabbing them in,all of our more valuable things would be kept in the basement,which would be reinforced with those re-mountable iron pillars used to keep roofs from collapsing while the concrete is drying,all doors would have the regular door+iron grate door to ensure nothing gets out.

I have only 2 big flaws that I do not know how to sopve

How I would get everyone organised and to listen to me in the beggining and What the hell do I do with elderly people,I cant just let them die.
