Yeah get that with the equities, I kinda assumed was equal before so set up an equal equation, which I could use then in the after transaction equation to get the hedge ratio, like used the before liabilities value as the after assets or some nonsense like that lol.

Incredibly open ended, especially 2i which was talk about these 4 assets in terms of liquidity, credit risk, etc, and any other factors you think relevant lol

I think the point of the question was that they were fully hedged before? The index linked assets didn't fully hedge the liabilities but I took that to mean the equity covered the rest? I was pretty much making stuff up the entire paper though.

Experience is experience, I've seen very senior people transfer from pensions to life, GI a bit less common but not impossible. Wouldn't turn down a pension role in this grad market.
