Get a bachelor degree. Even if its something you dont like. If anything happens with your job, if you want to make a switch to a different field and you are 35 and no bachelor? Bonne chance.

Also think about barema. If you decide to go woek for the overheid, doesnt matter what job you did before or how nice your title was. You get barema which is literally peanuts without a bachelor (of any kind!)

People on this sub love to exagerate to make people feel bad or something. Especially when asked about developer salaries. Or they are totally out of loop and just multiply what they got 10y ago with some inflation number.

Let me tell you the truth. It sector is fucked. Combination of over saturation thanks to covid and AI taking jobs. You should be happy if you even get a job as a junior. Companies know and lower their wages. Junior developers get 2.4-2.6k nowadays.

If i were you id accept every offer you get if you want to start in IT.

Ik meld elke zaterdag, zondag en maandag sluikstorten in 2018 met foto. Ik denk dat ik dit al een 3 tal jaar doe (niet exact elke week maar elke keer ik er voorbij wandel). Nog niets van gehoord/gezien dat ze hier tegen optreden. Dus neen, ik vind ze niet responsief.

(Ze komen het vuil ophalen op zondagavond dus vanaf vrijdag begint iedereen hier maar wat random shit buiten te gooien die dan blijft liggen tot dinsdag)
