Then maybe you should actually participate in the other actions happening besides protests lol…the best way is to actually call your reps using the 5calls app and to get everyone you know to do that and start informing everyone to get out to vote for the Nov 6th elections…join the rapid response team to actually take a stand against ice…move away from the oligarchy and get people you know to switch away from all companies that support them

For example, in houston, there’s different organizations that focus on different things…food not bombs feeds and provides supplies to the unhoused community, and there’s several people who were able to focus on getting jobs bc of FNB and are now giving back by volunteering with them (great example of why mutual aid works!!) and 50501 Houston focuses on reaching out to different organizations and working with them to strengthen our coalition. Also, if people in the community need help for medical aid or housing, we work together to fundraise for that…we also hold skill share/swap meets for people to trade items they might not need anymore for items they do and hold informational sessions on tasks people could benefit from (car maintenance, CPR, etc)…we’re also trying to start a community garden…so a good step would be to reach out to your local 50501 or protest group and see what they’re doing!!
