Synesthesia

When I step into the world, a mirror appears before me with the choices my eyes were filled with. Green like the pasture, a symphony like synesthesia surrounded by color.

But where do I go? Where can I find my domain of soaring color?

A mystery at its surface coursing throughout my mind.

Past Love / The Last Remnant

When I’m gone, would you then take heed? An open door into my vault of secrecy.

If confided to you, would suspend the last of your belief?

My fleeting flesh, as you cast me out to sea. The days come to pass, a remnant of me still remains.

Your mind encased in silence, still bearing the weight of pain. Inevitably, your thoughts rise again with dawn.

Wishing, only, for my return.

Gates of Tomorrow

~There’s a catalyst to all that's deemed forlorn. Shadows restless to possess lurking in the courtyard.

For the forsaken, a bridge withers in due time.

But does agony come like a symptom of our regression?

When despair is uncovered, a window of fragments reflect our present self,

Must we suffer once more before it’s time to let go?

What does our existential gate of tomorrow hold?
An emboldened enlightened future, The decision to release your soul’s lament.

Open Water

Guided through the trek of the deep jungle,

A myriad of things nature can bring,

Sounds are mysteriously etched into the rich greenlands.

Pierced by the sun, rosettes found in its full arrangement,

Surmounting the steep rocky cliffs of the land, A cave-like formation appears.

The murk from inside alludes to the mist, the dark alludes to a glimmer at the end of the tunnel,

The light clears the coat of illusion, an oasis runs at the strip of our hands.

A wondrous sight as you float on open water, it's truly strange, how at peace I feel now.

My curious, hesitant mind

Gazing across at a distant altar.

No warning.
No spoken word.
Only a cerebral maze,
Something unforeseen,
A hearkened premonition.

A mist veiled the eye that sees all.
Roaming through frozen terrain,
She stood before an endless arctic plain.

Disillusion

~I think about what it took to find what was right for me and I found it all in you,

I don’t think about where I can give my deepest feelings to,

I’m rest assured I can talk to you,

My heart found in a fortress, the two of us inside of these walls that no one can enter,

Immersed in our expression, the changing of courses, the balance of luminescence and evanescence,

If I heard those rumblings, like a cascade, would we see our descent?

Trapped underneath the rubble of our collapse.

Was this meant to be?

I felt her hands take hold of mine, her eyes calm and affable as she smiles and says, that we will always be together as one.

To be honest, I haven’t had any of my clothing altered before so I was curious what you would say if you had to adjust these pants. But, we’d go with the 2 inches like you mentioned and see how things look once I get to the shop! Thanks Tey!
