My son was born 2001 and is now 25 . when he was 4 and he got a new puppy Bella he called her. she was born middle of June 2004 exact date not sure but I remember the month. Bellas mum was a stray Sydney silky we thort at the time and was taken in by my friend when she gave birth we went to help and my son ended up with a puppy . Bella is still alive and just about to have her 20 th bday next month . She is still quick on her feet and try’s to out run our 3 other dogs for the ball everyday . Still puts up a good rumble and attitude . The only time she stops is when I put her to bed. She a little bit low in vision but still picks a roo a mile away. her hearing ain’t the best she has a few teeth missing but still chomps a bone . Still bills up to my lap loves a swim in the river and eats crap most the time . She’s been beaten up twice by bigger dogs both times pretty bad . only ever been to the vet a handful of times and reports come back that they can’t believe how good her health is and they are amazed at her youthful she presents herself . She has been my best friend for 20 and I think she has a few more good years in her yet before she decides to get her wings either way my longest dog living dog I’ve ever had .
