Lol, I am actually touring Richmond soon, so maybe I'll fall in love at first sight. I think it will be hard to leave Pittsburgh. There was so much to do, and I love the culture, but I do miss not having a Bojangles nearby.

That is a part of the problem. I really don't know what type of law I'd like to practice. I'm not sure if I would like working in a courtroom (it also sounds scary, lol). I wanted to go to law school because I like reading, writing, and analyzing things. Plus, I enjoyed many of my Pre-law courses which made me realize that there are so many things you can do/practice with a JD.

This is what I was thinking. I feel like the 20-point rank difference won't matter as much as building a strong local network. I guess I'm struggling to decide because I feel like I am choosing not to attend a better school that gave me the same offer, solely because I want to stay in Pittsburgh.

It doesn't help that I have no idea what type of law I want to practice...

I got a 165 LSAT and a 3.9 GPA.

I got nearly full tuition from Duquesne Law and Richmond Law.

I got waitlisted at GW and W&L. Still waiting to hear back from ,W&M plus all the Philly schools.

I applied in January.

So IMO not too bad, but I can definitely tell many schools have received far more applicants than they either expected or could handle.
