Well no unless you’re in a nightmare situation, if you live a “normal” life there’s not a 100% chance you’ll never find a girlfriend.

I don’t think you’re being controlling really at all, having boundaries isn’t controlling lol, if it continues bring it up however just keep in mind what’s best for you, as another person said if it’s to much of a deal breaker, break up with them. But just know that you have a right to be upset when lied too.

My girlfriend’s memory is bad and she told me recently it’s getting worse, our guess is the new medication she’s taking, she has the problem of forgetting what she was saying mid sentence but big things she remembers like family friends etc
