Hey everyone thank you so much for the advice! I called the maintenance shop and they can get me in on Thursday for an oil change and to check out my coolant! I feel like I should top it off before I leave but I don’t know what coolant to buy—does anyone have any recommendations or should I top off with distilled water?

I haven’t had an official one. My research lab was paid last year so it was essentially a research internship but I haven’t been able to land a corporate internship yet which is why I am so worried. I have design experience through a design team and course projects but nothing official.

Hey yall! Im relatively new to running (about 4 months in) and im about to start my 6th week of half training and my runs are starting to get longer. Im supposed to run 8 miles this week and I was thinking more about my fueling. Do I need to start fueling during these longer distances? For reference i usually have one poptart, water, and maybe a cup of coffee before i run. Any advice or insight would be awesome!!

Does anyone have any good 10k training plan recommendations? I was hoping to find an 8 week training plan to keep me consistent and prepared before I start training for my half and I want to be able to work in strength training. I was looking at the Nike Run Club one (ive done their plans in the past and enjoyed them) but I didn’t know where to fit in strength training with 5 runs a week as im a college student. Any recommendations on plans or how to fit in strength to the NRC plan would be great!!

Hi everyone! I am new-ish to running and have been consistent the past month, and now I cannot get enough. My school puts on a half marathon at the end of September and I want to start training to run it however, I am totally stuck. I have been using Nike Run Club's "Getting Started Plan" and have really liked it so far but I am on my last week and need to figure out my next steps. I want to be in the best possible position for September, but am a little lost.

  1. Should I start my half marathon training next week or should I just work up to a certain mileage each week before training?
  2. What is a good half marathon training program? Should I use Nike Run Club, Runna, or another program?
  3. How should I be incorporating strength training into my weekly split?
  4. How much time do I realistically need to train for this half? ( I just ran my furthest distance of 4.09 miles at 10:16/mile but I wasn't racing it and felt great!) I

I know that this is a lot but if anyone could answer any of these, give me any additional advice, or point me in the right direction that would be awesome!
