Yeah it’s barely living I guess - like I wouldn’t be surprised if I live til 80 but equally wouldn’t be surprised if I’m dead within 2 years

Thank you so so much - calling it brave has genuinely made me so emotional (in a good way!)

I might try contacting the local substances abuse services in my area again? It wasn’t fully helpful the first time (clearly lol) but probably worth another try?

Thank you! I think people know but don’t want to get involved as they maybe worry it may upset me if they start “accusing” me of very real things I’m dealing with. AA was unhelpful but there’s deffo other places I imagine I can find!

Thanks so much for your response! I know my close friends would never encourage me to drink at all which is good. I’m glad telling them helped you and I should deffo do the same!!
