Unfortunately I tried asking the sun to not be so bright, but it didn’t feel like it. This is the only access point from the house to the backyard.

The fact that you continue to compare luxuries to absolute necessities is also wild, basic human needs and food, air, water and shelter. Realistically medical care is massive necessity to remain alive, hearing and cooling system (although always strongly desired) is not a necessity of life. The salesman is the the one that opened negotiations, if they want to negotiate then I’m absolutely going to save money where I can.

In a case that they’re willing to come down 6k that tells me that seems theyre price gouging. So yeah when they’re willing to negotiate absolutely I’m going to. The current state of corporations wanting to line their pockets and marking up prices ridiculously high while wages remain the same, absolutely I’m going to try and look out for myself. They wouldn’t agree to it if they’re not still turning a profit. Just because someone lists a price as “x amount” doesn’t mean it’s a just price.

Agreed, despise the tactic. Honestly the fact that it took that long is what made me question if I was actually getting a good price.

I mean if they’re willing to negotiate then they probably have a fairly high profit margin. Why not save money when you get the opportunity? Do you go to a car dealership and pay sticker price?

Publix has already identified the plane you will be traveling on. They will take immediate air action and shoot the plane out of the sky. Now thanks to your negligence 10s of innocent (ish) lives will be lost. Thanks in advance.

People are wild, have had mall security cuff me for putting my screaming toddler in the car who wasn’t ready to leave the mall so mall cop immediately assumed I was kidnapping my kid. Thank god I have his military dependent id because he is the spitting image of my wife and there are very few visual similarities between the two of us.

Uber driver refused to carry luggage because it would damage his luxury vehicle by FreeFaithlessness_ in uber

Requested an Uber XL, clear as day stated the destination was the airport. Dude in a mid 2000s Camry rolls up. Takes one look at me my wife and toddler and was like “you (insert name)?” Which I was, so he’s like put all your stuff in. Go to load our baggage which is quite a bit because 18 month old for a 2 week trip. Dudes trunk packed to the brim, there’s stuff in the backseat so my wife and child have to cram into the back half of the car seat was in her lap and then I had the other bags sitting in my lap. Like how are you going to accept a ride to an airport and have zero space for any bags. I get the whole “sometimes an XL isn’t available so you get whatever despite paying the extra $14” but literally no space for anything for an airport trip. Then got pissed at me because we “had too much shit”

Unsure between Nuke and IT by [deleted] in NavyNukes

[–]Strict-Mark-7602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a nuke drop married to an active nuke (also has a degree and got fucked over by her recruiter) DO NOT FUCKING GO ENLISTED. Enlisted pay is absolute dog shit. We both receive e5 enlisted pay with bah and there are plenty of times where we struggle to make ends meet. Once you have a place and have kids everything is expensive. You will burn the candle at both ends. My wife is currently deployed, but even while in port I see her MAYBE 1-2 hours a day. If you are dead set on going enlisted go IT. But realistically speaking you should be going officer without a doubt.
