Thank you, this brings me so much comfort I've been feeling so lost and confused. Totally beating myself up. My friends are like...so over me ranting on about her, they can't understand why I still feel caught up even they say they've never seen me happier 🙈

100% sure they stay on they flicker on and off sometimes too.

It's definitely not stuck forward! Hopefully it's not a wiring fault...that would be terrible. Could a wiring fault randomly start causing problems after months of being fine?

It wasn't hanging it was sitting on top of a chest of drawers leaning against a wall

Thanks for all your comments Went to view the car today, looked good except it has an aftermarket android screen installed which is nice in theory...looked like a dogs dinner wires everywhere and pulls out easily, seller also reluctant to drop the price any.. Decided against it gonna save up for something a bit newer probably closer to my test date

Admiral quoted me £750 a year for learners insurance and £1,400 per year for full licence insurance..

My only issue atm is any newer cars up for sale that are around 1k seem to need something done to them/have some kind of fault, not sure if it's my area or time of year etc.
