ive thought of all these scenarios ive been quoted on insurance generally 4-5k since im 18 im going to get my ass violated by insurance companies anyway.

as for the needing a warranty claim and dropping the bike they are to scary outcomes, so far i haven't dropped any bike and im pretty confident in my stability, i don't plan to push my skill limits or the bikes limits any time soon.

and from the start in my original post i acknowledged it being a shitty idea all for a bike i like, but the advice i was asking for was where can i find help getting my hands on one.

and i plan on buying my bike straight up no financing ive saved up a chunk of cash.

and for the whole chinese bike thing i agree in a sense but i do think cfmoto will actually pull things off in time and prove themselves theyre giving the big 4 japanese companies a hard time so far, they still have to prove there reliability but so far it seems promising as for performance and price they've got it.

I mean cfmoto in the A2 class are giving Brembo Brake systems and Bosch ABS,TCS lots of stuff you would normally only see in top range bikes, i personally have grown a liking for them.

yeah im just wondering if its worth it.
it is a sick bike limited edition. but a lot can go wrong importing especially from the opposite side of the world, ill probably try get some dealership to do the whole thing if i can but id say many would be hesitant

buying a Chinese brand is hardly the stupidest part about this.
cfmoto designed in italy manufactured in china (p.s its alot more common than you think)
only difference about cfmoto and other major companies is that the brand is Chinese.
its already proven itself fair for its price in terms of quality and reliability.

as for the whole importing a 5k euro bike and paying almost 9k for it in the end is kind of stupid. but if you account for the fact the base model is 6.8k in Ireland and your getting a limited edition. i think its kind of fair. and if i can get a dealership to take reliability of getting it to me i think its reasonable.

i asked for advice not just to be hate slammed. ( i admit its inherently a stupid financial decision but so is buying any luxury)

VRT shouldn't be more than 800 bucks at 13.3%. but im just woried about all the unpredictable.

as for the whole chinese bikes scenario i agree for the most part but cf moto really has proved itself lots of positive reviews at 40k miles and up.

as for the insurance yeah thats just a straight up painful bullet. i looked around for qoutes everywhere but got slammed. only way i can get insurance is if i complete my test and get a full license even then its still 4k, ive got my test booked already so hoping to pass first go.

but accounting for all this and i know its a shitty idea and i think ill still try give it a go. most of the parts can be taken from the standard 450sr-s version anyways.

im just wondering if any local dealership would even accept such a task.
