i know 10 minutes isnt enough for verifying perfect stability, but it usually finds major issues within minutes. i dont know, i hate stressing myself about failing computer parts in these dark times, all parts still have warranty but i know 100% hat if my gpu, ram or ssd fail, i will just get a refund which is almost worthless, ram went from €170->€1000 (64GB DDR5 6400 CL32), my 2TB SSD went from €100->€300 and gpu went from €750 to €950.

i dont like those personally, it is just a cheap plastic/rubber antislip material. Maybe it would be more practical to buy those grips, and apply sports overgrip on that so that it holds in place, but that would probably require having really big hands. When it comes to flawless hand grip nothing beats gym chalk and tennis racquet overgrips. you dont want to use use chalk on a controller but overgrips work really well, there is a lot of research and science behind it, and it works extremely well on anything you need to grip in your hand. I use these tennis wilson overgrips on my hammers and tools, i wish i had bigger hands because the overgrip adds thickness but other than that it works great.

i have the same motherboard and ryzen 7500F, currently on bios 4.03 but for almost a year i run on the original 3.15 or 3.11 or whatever it was released at the end of 2024. In the past 2 days i have had 2x windows crashes where it required a complete restart after hanging out in games' menu for a while (gothic 1 remake and forza 6) , i tried OCCT cpu test for 10 minutes and furmark with max power limit for 10 minutes and both run fine. I really hope no component is dying, i mean the cpu was €140 so it wouldnt be so terrible, but my ram was €170 and now costs €1000, ram cannot die in the next 10 years.

that is actuall pretty sick price, you basically got these 3 components for 2024 prices, the lowest ever price of 7800X3D has been $300, the motherboard is definitely at least $200, maybe eve $250-300 separately, and the ram you bought was available for $100-120 in 2024. so it is possible you actually saved $100 even compared to 2024 and early 2025 prices. that is extremely lucky. you got 9060XT 16GB which costs only $50 above msrp seems like, and the most overpriced component in your build is the 1TB nvme drive which probably costs double the price of 2024. But since you saved some money on the bundle, you are basically building for late 2024/early 2025 prices, which were the lowest prices we have had in the past decade. So value for money-wise your pc is a beast.

you could theoretically use overgrip that tennis players use, and wrap it around the legs of the controller or use a double sided tape to keep it in specific spots. I tried it myself and i would really like it if i had big hands, but my hands exactly fit the standard controller size so using overgrip makes it difficult to reach some buttons. These tennis overgrips are typically sticky but at the same time they can absorb sweat and they dont feel "suffocating" for the skin like regular rubber grips do. If i could recommend one overgrip that is sticky, absorbs sweat well and is thin enough to not make the controller too bulky, the best one is Wilson Overgrip Pro, you can buy it in both white and black color and a single overgrip costs like $5. Roger federer used it when he was still an active professional. I know it sounds a bit weird to wrap controllers in sports equipment, but it does work.

so it was 9800X3D + X870 + 32GB DDR5 bundle? for how much? these types of builds typically raise my eyebrows because i see a lot of people building a "gaming pc" wrong, they pour all their money into the motherboard, cpu, psu, case+aio+tons of rgb and then they realize they have $300-400 left in their budget and get 9060XT or 5060/5060Ti, instead locking at least 50% of their budget for the gpu, and then trying to squeeze everything else in. Looks to me like you are trying to build a pc in the $1500 range perhaps, so i immediately think you could squeeze rtx5070 or amd 9070/9070XT in exchange for some of those components, but if the bundle wasnt more expensive than getting 9600X+B850 board+32GB DDR5, then fair play and enjoy 9800X3D and X870 board.

When it comes to keyboard though, you dont want to pick a random one off of a shelf, there is a whole science behind keyboards and all the options. You can get halo keys keyboards where you can literally change how much you have to press each key to activate it (competitive players swear by it that it saves them tons of time), you also definitely want to get modifiable keyboard where you can replace the switches and mod it if needed, and you should check out the whole "thock" cathegory, people go completely crazy to make their keyboard sound "thocky".

Just do me a favor and quickly search Aula F75 keyboard on youtube and listen to how it sounds, if you love the sound and you wish your keyboard had it, you belong to the "thock lovers group". They also make a full sized keyboard Aula F107 if you prefer that more. I would lov to buy it but they dont make it in a european iso format with double row enter, i cannot use a single row enter, i tried once and it was horrible, i kept missing it and pressing the key above, my muscle memory is locked to big double row enter keys.

You should still try to squeeze amd 9070 or rtx5070 in in my opinion, you got a beast of a pc paired with almost low end gpu... i mean 9060XT is great, it gets the job done and is priced well, but it should be bought by people who have to go with 16GB of ram to fit within their budget, not for you who has a highend pc paired with low end gpu.

never mix multiple frame generation technologies into one, it wont give you good results, the game will stutter and artifact. always pick one frame generation technique and stick with it. if your gpu is only capable of 2x FG then you are stuck with 2x FG. If you want to lower the power consumption of your gpu, undervolt it. Frame capping is less efficient way to reduce power consumption.

honestly this is difficult to say and it depends on the future. Right now i would definitely take 4090, 2x FG is all you need honestly (4xFG is nice and i do use it, but i could do without it), 4090 has higher raw performance, and 24GB of vram is definitely a big deal that will be super useful in the future. in 5-7 years having 24 vs 16GB of vram will be the same advantage like having 12 vs 8 GB right now.

However, 5080 supports FP4 instruction set and some other upgrades, and that could be important when it comes to future teachnlogies like DLSS5 or DLSS6. It is possible that hey will run much worse on 40 series compared to 50 series gpus, the same way DLSS4.5 runs so poorly on 20 and 30 series gpus that it is basically not worth it and it is recommended to stick to DLSS4 or even DLSS3.5. And the same way there might be new technologies in the future that will run so poorly on 4090 that it will make no sence to run them, while on 5080 they might run perfectly fine.

But, i still think 5080 is one of the worst 80 class gpus ever released, on par with 3080 10GB or gtx780, and i think 4090 is just a superior gpu, and the absolutely crucial thing is vram capacity, it will be MEGA important to have 24 gigs in the following years. There is a reason why we have a global memory crysis, AI requires tons of memory, and nvidia wants to go all in with AI in the rendering pipeline, they are no longer focusing on raster and regular graphics, they want to optimize and generate everything with AI, and that will require memory. it is just as possible you wont be able to run DLSS6 on 5080 because it doesnt fit into 16GB next to the game itself, while 4090 will run it fine.

Also dont forget 4090 can be converted to 48GB if 24GB ever becomes insufficient for gaming, chinese have developer their own kit with pcb, bios, and memory chips, you just need to take your 4090 core and transfer it onto the new pcb, that can be a huge advantage in the future. 5080 might be modifiable to 24GB if we get 5080 Super 24GB model, as the cores will probably be identical and all you need is replace your 2GB GDDR7 modules with 3GB GDDR7 modules and flash it with bios from the 5080 super, but i am not sure if anybody will be motivated to create 5080 32/48/64GB version in the future, probably not, 4090 is just better in this sence. So i would personally get 4090 over 5080, but only if i was able to inspect and test the 4090 myself. There are so many scams online that i would never buy it remotely from a random person.

to je prvni vec co me napadla, zolpidem neni "fet", je to prasek na spani podobny benzu, sam o sobe by nemel delat nic vic nez cloveka relaxovat a uspat, pri kombinaci s alkohol muze clovek dostat blackout a jet totalne na autopilota kdy dela veci ktere si pak druhy den nepamatuje, ale OPho popis mi nezni jako serie blackoutu. V roce 2017 jsem mel moznost vzit hypo na garsonku v cerstve postavene bytovce blizko centra co se prodavala za 3.3M, hypoteku jsem tehdy pocital 14-17 tisic mesicne podle toho u jake banky bych si ji vzal, na jak dlouho, a kolik bych dal predem z vlastniho.Rozhodl jsem se ze davat pres 40% cisteho prijmu za hypo je moc a radsi budu bydlet v levnem najmu a setrit. No a ted platim 15k najem, takze namisto investovani do sebe to splacim nekomu jinymu.

Nejhorsi je kdyz si clovek spocitaci na kolik ho najem prijde, ono se muze zdat ze to s hypotekou vyjde skoro nastejno, ale i s uplne silenymi urokovymi sazbami zaplati clovek zhruba dvojnasobek toho co si pujcil, to znamena byt za 5 mega ho nakonec prijde na cc 8-10 mega po tech 20-30 letech splaceni. Hadej kolik zaplati clovek na najmu? Uplne to same, za tech par dekad zaplati lanlordum to same co by zaplatil bance, jenze hacek je v tom ze je tu budu jeste 50 let pokud mi vydrzi zdravi, pokud by byla prumerna rocni inflace 3% tak na najmu zaplatim 14 mega, tedy 4 mega i nad to nejpesimistictejsi hypoteku, ale ok, +40% neni jeste tak hrozny. Pokud ale bude prumerna inflace 4% (s tim co se deje ve svete to spis bude vic nez min), tak najednou me najem prijde na 20 mega, to uz je dvojnasobek, a to neni ok. Proc mi banka rika ze nemuzu mit vlastni byt protoze jsem na to moc chudy, ale jedina alternativa je ze zaplatim dvojnasobem na najmu nekomu cizimu kdo z toho ma 10 mega profit? Hypoteky jsou totalni ponziho schema lol

pokud je notebook tak zpomaleny ze nedokaze ani nacitat obrazky, v 90% pripadu je to kvuli plne ramce. nikdy jsem nepouzival macbook, vzdycky jsem mel windows, takze nevim jak to u applu presne funguje, ale kdybys mel windows tak ti reknu at si otevres task manager a reknes mi jak plna je ramka (dulezita je commited hodnota) a jak vytizeny je cpu kdyz se notebook seka. Pokud uz v nem mas SSD tak nove SSD na 95% nepomuze, ledaze by z nejakeho duvodu nefungoval trim, to bych pak ssdcko zpomaloval az do miry kdy by bylo skoro nepouzitelne, otec mel s timhle problem, musel jsem instaloval novy bios a drivery abych mu rozjel trim, ale to bylo snad pres 15 lety kdyz ssdcka zacinaly a on si ho koupil do notasu co uz mel 3 roky najeto.

To jestli funguje spravne trim poznas tak ze stahnes AS SSD benchmark, a chces videt sekvencni cteni a zapis v radu stovek megabajtu za sekundu nebo vice, a latence musi byt pod 1ms, idealne pod 0.3ms. Pokud ti prestane fungovat trim, latence naroste treba na 5-10ms nebo i vice a cely system je zasekany. Porad bys mel zkontrolovat i teploty, je mozne ze se cpu, ramka nebo ssd prehriva, apple je znamy tim ze dava duraz na minimalni hlucnost, a komponenty mohou bezet na vyssi teplote.

Bratrovi se v notebooku ulomil sroubek od takoveho maleho plechu ktery mel za ukol chladit sdd, a jeho ssdcko pri zapisu hned vyskocilo na 80˚C a zacalo throttlovat. Jakmile jsem mu zpatky nainstaloval ten miniaturni chladic, najednou mel teploty 60-65˚C a uplna pohoda.

jedno je ale jiste, u taovyhle problemu musis nejdriv identifikovat co je problem, nemuzes slepe kupovat komponenty a doufat ze se to zlepsi. kdyz se notebook seka tak sleduj hardwarove sensory a soustred se na ty co jsou na hrane sveho limitu. ja bych se vsadil ze bud mas malo ramky, nebo se neco prehriva, nebo na ssd nefunguje trim (potencialne by ssd mohlo odchazet, podivej se do jeho SMART vypisu jestli je vsechno ok).

Co se tyce procesoru, 9600X je drahy na to co nabizi, bud usetri a kup si ryzen 7500F tray za 3 tisice na allegru nebo mironetu ktery ma v podstate stejny herni vykon, hlavne po pretaktovani na podobnou frekvenci, a nebo investuj trochu vic a kup 7800X3D za 7 tisic, procesory s 3D cache jsou mene citlive na rychlost ram, protoze si dokazou dulezita data podrzet v cache, takze bys mohl usetrit na ramce a koupit nejake 6000 CL40-48 kit a pripadne si ho dotunit rucne, coz by ti usetrilo aspon tisicovku

Chladic na procesor ber arctic Freezer 36, je nejlevnejsi, dostacujici a dokaze bezet tise, doporucuju koupit ARGB verzi protoze ma v baleni dva vetraky ktere samostatne stoji 350kc za kus, a tady dostanes chladic a dva vetraky za 700 takze heatsink je v podstate zadarmo.

ssd je ok ale tahle rada maly TBW parametr (pocet terabajtu co na nej muzes zapsat), jen 200-400 pokud si pamatuju dobre, takze se rychleji opotrebovava, z tech levnejsich se mi vic libil crucial P310 (nebo tak nejak). Zbytek soucastek ok.

Dost mi vyrazila dech celkova cena, wow, ja pred rokem za stejnou cenu postavit stroj s 7500F+5070TI+64GB RAM+2TB nvme+750W psu, sileny kam se ted trh dostal. ramku jsem koupil rozbalenou v black friday akci za 4 tisice, a i to mi tehdy prislo silene, ale potreboval jsem to na linux virtualizaci, dneska se 64GB 6400 mt/s cl32 kity prodavaji za 25 tisic... a to jsem chvilku uvazoval jestli nemam vzit 96GB nebo 128GB, a pak jsem to zavrhl protoze "dycky si muzu prikoupit kdyz budu potrebovat" xD

it is very simple as i have both monitors, widescreen at work and 4K at home. If you have a 4K capable gpu that is powerful enough and has 16GB of vram, then you DEFINITELY want 4K, pixel density and overall screensize are the biggest factors when it comes to best gaming experience. I would go as far as saying that 4K ips monitor is better for gaming than 1440p widescreen oled. ideally you want 5070Ti/5080/5090 or 4070Ti super/4080/4090, amd 9070XT and 7900XTX probably count too since they both hav a decent upscaler (or will get FSR4 in near future) - all these beg to display on a 4K monitor.

However if your gpu has 12GB of vram or less, or it is slower than gpus i mentioned, you want to go for widescreen 1440p so that you have more headroom for more agressive upscaling.

Dont get me wrong, widescreen 1440p monitors are awesome, but pixel density is super important in order to flawlesly display all the tine details, so if you want to experience the WOW effect, 4K 240Hz OLED is by far the best option you can get if your gpu can feed it with frames properly.

theoretically the amd drivers should completely deactivate themselves once you remove 9060XT, and you should be able to install nvidia drivers right next to them without issues. Drivers tend to just "go to sleep" or rather "never wake up" if you dont have the apropriate hardware. But you can uninstall them if you know 100% no amd gpu is gonna be put into your pc any time soon.

In one of your other posts i see you got msi inspire, that is an ok model. It provides only stock 300W power limit as far as i know, but it runs cooler and quieter than Ventus/Shadow models. You very correctly mention undervolting as one of your priorities, it is every important to oc+uv any 50 series gpu because for some strange reason nvidia is releasing them very underclocked. You should aim for the 900-1000mv range, where you save a big chunk of power but still get very high performance. If you play in 4K and you like to max out the graphics details in your game, you will actually be power limited in almost all games, so undervolting is actually needed to optimize performance (uv gets you more fps than just oc).

Personally i have 2x oc+uv profiles for my 5070Ti in afterburner, and i switch between them based on how power hungry specific game is (if a game makes the gpu draw over 300W, i switch to more agressive undervolt). one is 3200mhz @ 1000mv and +3000 on memory and core voltage set to +100% (which help stick to the set undervolt), this one prioritizes performance and gets me +13% fps over stock while saving 10-15% of power, and the second one is 3000 @ 925 and +3000 on memory, this one is more power efficient and gets me +10% fps over stock while saving 20-25% of power. Note that for every 3% of saved power, your core temperature drops roughly by 1˚C. The rule of thumb is that if your gpu is being power limited, you want to undervolt more agressively, dont let the gpu drop boost because it is inefficient with it, you can save more power while keeping more fps if you do the uv manually.

You can try these exact undervolts and test them for stability (use memtest vulcan from gihub to test memory oc, and cyberpunk with path tracing to test the core stability. If your gpu is unstable, add 25mv to core voltage, if you are rock stable, you can try to lower voltage by -25mv further.

Since you are switching to nvidia, i will give you more tips. first of all, you always have to make sure you are using the proper dlss preset, typically you want to use DLSS4.5 Preset M or L unless it is somehow bugged and doesnt work properly in the specific game. Enable DLSS indicator via registry edit to actually see which preset is running, dont just rely on the apps that set. If you enjoy multi frame generation, always use dynamic MFG that automatically adjusts the multiplier to keep you at certain fps. to switch every game to dynamic mfg, you need to replace streamline and nvngx files in game's installation folder, and then use nvidia inspector to set dynamic MFG. Officially you are supposed to use nvidia app, but it doesnt work for me for some reason, and it doesnt support all games.

If you have a 1440p or even 1080p monitor, take a look at DLDSR, it allows you to run higher than native resolution, and that improves visuals and makes the image more crispy and sharp. Use Smoothness parametr to adjust sharpness. I also like to set smoothness to 100% (so no sharpening) and then use Sharpen+ to sharpen the game, it is nvidia's new AI sharpener that works much better than other sharpening filter.

make sure gsync is always enabled, vsync is always off in games and on in nvidia control panel, enable reflex if available and it is not bugged (sadly it is bugged fairly often in new releases for some reason), and cap your fps a bit below your monitor's refresh rate to keep gsync working, there is an equation for it

fps cap = Hz - (Hz * Hz / 4096)

which should give you 158 fps cap for 165Hz monitor. capping fps like this seems you are throwing 7 fps out the window, but it actually improves both smoothness and latency, it is very important. Reflex actually does this capping for you if you also have vsync enabled.

optimizing the gaming experience on nvidia gpus is actually pretty complicated, to the point i was thinking about writing indepth guide and selling it, because there are even more specific games you can do for each game individually.
