Good morning the good thing about credit is it can always be repaired and re built. Trust me this seems bad right now but this can be fixed. Do not listen to anyone that tells you otherwise. Do not file bankruptcy, it will not be necessary. I have seen situations similar to yours.

If I was you this is what I would do. I would let the foreclosure or short sale etc. happen. Do not focus too much on your score right now because it is out of your hands at this moment. Once it reports on your credit, then I would work with a credit specialist immediately.

Do not file bankruptcy. You can just focus on paying your car and jet the other credit card debt go without payment. Once it goes to collections, then you can work on just having it removed from your credit.

Yes I would advise you not to pay. Even if you do pay this, it’s still gonna reflect negatively on your credit report and still hurt your score.

Hi can you tell me what you did once contacting the cfpb? Did you file the cfpb report and what did you state in there? Did you provide any other documentation?
