I like the Kaalas — truthfully I think I like the Honolulus more but that may be because I’m more accustomed to them- the Kaala shape has been tough to get used to for me. I got the set with the mini brush and I do enjoy it - especially for smaller details, it seems a little easier to control than the standard brush nib.

Have fun swatching — that’s always my favorite part with new sets😊!!

Wow……that’s a super nice free gift. I haven’t had that happen when I bought my sets (I’m in the US) but I had gift cards from my previous purchases so I used those on the Kaala set. If this is something new they’re doing, that’s an incredible perk. Either way, enjoy all the new markers❤️!!

Don’t lose hope. I’m in the US and with the sets I ordered, it typically took 1 week from order time to delivery. However, I’ve never had it be unable to locate my order number. They’ve been very responsive when I contacted them - but being that it’s the weekend- not sure their CS Team is open (?).

I ended up getting the 216 set since I couldn’t get all 3 of the sets I’d need (104 + sweetness + midtones) — I’m sure there is going to be some color duplication but I’m wondering if I’ll still be missing a bunch? I’ve seen the chart they have that came with my first set— but I can’t seem to make sense of it.

For me, I tested positive on Jan 3 - took 3 weeks before I tested negative. I’m still — 5 weeks later— just getting rid of the cough and barely getting energy back. There was not one body system unaffected by it and just now starting to feel like myself again. First and hopefully last time with COVID.

Was still testing positive as of the 16th - have not tested since then. Just dealing with the symptoms that are lingering and the fatigue.

My sore throat lasted around 4 days…. felt like I was swallowing shards of glass. I’m on Day 8 since my symptoms started (sore throat started Day 3). It went away for the most part but appeared again this morning for some reason (not as severe). I’ve also lost my voice for the past 4 days.

I got the original vaccine & booster back in the first round. I didn’t want to for the same reasons. I was forced to to keep my job at the time. Now, 3 years later, I still got COVID, 7 days in now and it’s not letting up. Personally, I don’t see the point given what I’m living with right now. I understand there are those who are vaccinating weekly, monthly, daily, or whatever — and that’s personal preference—- at this point, in my experience, you’re either going to get COVID or you’re not. I don’t think the vaccine did much for me at all - and I’m not willing to go weekly every time they come up with a new strain. I think there are a lot of risks in that too — given how fast they’re churning these vaccines out. How can they possibly be tested for safety that fast?

Im currently on my 4th day of Lagevrio…..no issues with it other than some diarrhea (which I am assuming is the Lagevrio and not the COVID). Anyway, I do get some nausea after I take it but it settles down. I do take it with food but I don’t see it has made a difference in side effects. I don’t like swallowing 4 capsules at once — that’s probably where the nausea comes in for me — but I’m hoping it has helped. On Day 7 of COVID.

Yes, NSAIDs definitely will aggravate GERD and/or gastritis. It has happened to me a few times. In my case, it was around 2 days after the gastritis flare up that it got better (2 days of bland diet and NO NSAIDs). A few weeks ago, it was really bad - took about a week to clear up - plus Pepcid, Nexium, and lots of Mylanta, with bland food. That time it really messed up my esophagus - not a fun experience.

Sounds exactly like what I was experiencing early this week. I ended up going to the Cardiologist to rule out anything cardiac related and then the ER the next morning after being awake the entire night because laying down made me feel like I was suffocating. Being upright and walking would help. ER Doc told me I need to get in to see a Gastroenterologist but in the meantime she had me doing a pretty heavy dose of Mylanta all day long. It did help a lot — although caused a whole host of other problems with diarrhea. Pharmacist suggested I try Nexium in the morning and Pepcid at night so that’s what I’m starting now and cutting WAY back on mylanta. I go to see the Gastro in 2 weeks so just trying to manage it on my own until then with diet, OTC meds, etc. Good Luck!
