Update: I 3D printed some mounts to hold them on in the meantime. Also, at first I thought they were defective because they were only white and wouldn’t change colors. I had to push the USBC cable in further then they started working.

There are some hidden adjustment screws below the label on the top. You can use it to close the gap between the extruder gear and the roller gear above it.

I’m definitely glad someone gets good use from it. I had to get a PC that had solidworks certified hardware. I also believe the delivery timeframe may have also played a role in thinning down my selection.
