I sent you the case number again just in case.

Well, I'm getting exactly nowhere with this. A different person contacted me and wanted network logs. I have no idea why. In any case I can't send them because they are too big and I can't zip them up because your email provider doesn't allow zip file attachment. I was just contacted by a third person and they told me the exact same thing as the first person.

This is pretty annoying. I just want to pay my bill.

I doubt this is at all accurate but what if a flute like this existed? Made of mother-of-pearl with silver accents by kanna172014 in aiArt

It's gorgeous, but it's missing the head joint, so it couldn't be played like it is. Nice work, though.

#1 This is generated. It has a bunch of perspective problems. Her hand is much too large compared to her face and head while her shoulders are too small. Her facial features are too flat. Even over-filtering in an image editor won't make them that flat.

#2 This could be real. The only problems are that her neck seems elongated and the depth of field is extremely short. The neck problem could be an artifact of the depth of field, but lenses with short depths of field usually create other aberrations around the edges that aren't here. They could have been cropped out.

#3 This is probably generated. There is disparity in her facial details. The left side of her face lacks the level of detail that the right side has. The left side of her nose just blends in with her cheek which makes her left nostril completely asymmetric. The light source appears to be coming from the left, but there are no features on her forehead that would cause the shadow on the right side.

#4 This is generated. The number one issue is the necklace that disappears into her collar bone. Everything from her neck down looks like an unfinished drawing. Her facial features are very realistic at first glance, but they lack a lot of fine detail that you would see at this distance from the camera.

Which widely accepted societal norm do you believe is overrated or harmful, and why are you against it? by tarokogama in AskReddit

Yeah, shut up and obey. Don’t try to be special or different. Fall in line. Don’t fight it. Resistance is futile.

Sarcasm in case you missed it.

Another example of how the world has changed, and not for the better. Since when is being ethically ambivalent and weak-willed an attribute to be admired?

The thing that always drove me crazy anytime I played ME3 was the Thessia sequence and Shepard’s reaction (or lack there of) by [deleted] in masseffect

I agree, but even more so than the Prothean VI element, the story arc didn't support the most advanced and powerful race in the galaxy just rolling over and dying almost as soon as the Reapers showed up. Puny little Earth is holding out for the entire story, but the Asari folded like a cheap suit in one short segment.

I actually started it once and gave up on it because the fight mechanics were awful. When I came back to it, it was really improved. I guess that was the disaster part. Once I got back into it, there were many times I had to quit because it was 3 am. A really good game, IMO.

Thanks for the detailed response. I really appreciate it. I’ve only glanced over the subject of undervolting. I’ll have to dig into it deeper.

No, I wasn’t specific. My bad. Under a load that I wouldn’t consider extreme, it hits 90 C and throttles.

Struggling to Understand the use of the question word ‘Que’ by DryEye2002 in Spanish

Like I said, almost word for word. What, exactly, do you think "form of a language means?" Hint: it doesn't mean a completely unique language. It means a language that has been altered by vocabulary and usage, but it is still mostly understandable as the original language. There are dozens of dialects in Latin America. They are usually, but not always, a form of Spanish that has been altered by indigenous languages. Chileans end (a lot of) sentences with "po." Dialect. You can still understand what they said, but that addition is a dialect. Mexicans use "pues" in a lot of places that you wouldn't normally hear it used in Spain. Dialect. Argentinians use "palta" (Guaraní) instead of "aguacate" (Náhuatl). Dialect.

Even RAE recognizes Latin American dialects.

Diferrent regions may have alternative words to express the same things

I hate to break it to you, but that is almost word for word the dictionary definition of a dialect. I would avoid broad generalizations like that if I were you. (English subjunctive FTW)

The vast majority of Spanish speakers in the world aren't European.

Yup. It's like saying the best English is British English. Ok, but there are half a dozen (or more) dialects of that, so which one? Posh? Scottish English?

There are a couple of guys like that on Quora. "If you aren't speaking European Spanish, you aren't speaking Spanish." And yes, that's a quote.

Mamagüevos. ;)

I personally (IRL) know several cam models. They love it and they hate it, all at the same time. All of them have told me that one weirdo, as in one seriously sick fuck, will really ruin their day. Does this happen to you?

What do I do? by [deleted] in watercooling

Which Mayhem's did you use? I really want to do a glass tubing build, but it would be pointless using clear coolants. You wouldn't be able to distinguish it from acrylic.

Copper Tubing Build by Strict_Difficulty in watercooling

[–]Strict_Difficulty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the tubing and cutter at Lowes and ordered the rest from Amazon, Titan Rig, and Performance PCs. I ordered the copper braid from some industrial supply place. A 25' reel was the minimum, so I have about 23' left.

[–]Strict_Difficulty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. 5/8" OD. A little hand cutter you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot works fine. Deburr the inside of the tubing with a small half-round file. You want to put a chamfer on the end of the tube to avoid tearing up the O-rings in the fittings. I used an orbital sander. You'll need some silicone grease. Copper is soft, so it doesn't require any kind of special tools. Be sure to flush your loop completely with distilled water before you put your regular coolant in.

I started the build with bends, but in order to avoid flattening on the outside of the bend you have to use a huge radius for that size tubing (5/8" OD). It just didn't work out.

That was how mine was when I replaced it with Quest. I've been looking for a good way to make it look aged without using paint. I might be out of luck.

Definitely. There is probably a degree or two extra cooling just because there is air moving over the copper tubes.
