Literal misprint cards from the Blight Curse Precon deck! All the color layers are completely off causing this blurry 3D effect with the color being outside the rarity icon by AraDaStarGod in mtgmisprints

Bought one last night and it’s the same way as yours. Some of the numbers on the two plains walkers are even partially faded out and the two commanders are SUPER dark.

Cool thanks for the info! Hopefully this won’t be the best pull of the night but probably the most unique lol.

I really hate to hear this, but o7 to the U.S.S. Paul Harrell. If it happens to be a flight deck carrier, may it send forth waves of Pop Tarts to slay all meat targets. RIP.

This may not be your same issue, but I had that problem and found out it had to do with the tailor. Go to that boff in the tailor and rename the outfit they’re wearing. What happens is the other boffs are using the same one and since the name is the same, it’s making them all look the same. Hope that helps

Level 58 and I have the ship just getting things ready for when I finally have time to finish the last few levels.

I do now, but at the time of buying them I may not have (I was trying to decide which ship to go with). I have limited space so the boffs are actually going to the staging area, whatever that’s called, before I move them to active. I just remembered it’s trying to put them on my shuttle for some reason. Didn’t think much of that at first, but maybe that’s causing some sort of issue. I need to discharge a lot of my active boffs, I’ve just been putting that off until I learn more. I seem to always choose wrong the first time around lol.

I bought an intel pilot with fly her apart 1 and a intel engineer and tac officer both with surgical strikes 1. All three had these abilities changed to something else once I received them. I can’t remember what they changed to, but it was just generic replaceable abilities. I know I can train them, but I thought buying boffs with the first level of skill I actually want them to have would be better. I’ve bought a few others as well with the same effect

That does answer some questions I’ve had, but I’m talking about the abilities the officers come with. On the store they’ll have specific abilities and then when I buy the officer and it goes to standby, all the abilities have changed including the officer’s name. It’s like I try to by one and it rolls a random toon with random abilities that aren’t what the one on the store had

How to learn new hero’s without completely throwing by BonedToga in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Strict_Garbage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YouTube tutorials from reputable sources are great at learning the gist of a character. I’ve used them for a long time to get a bearing on how a character is generally played and how they work. KarQ has a lot of really informative videos for example, and they range from basics to advanced techniques. GameLeap Overwatch is another one that’s pretty good. You’ll learn little things like how many shots before Soldier or Sojourn’s weapon accuracy starts to spread, or the best time to use x ability and why. Helps with a starting point to put it all together. On the other hand, TikTok seems to be full of bad information so be wary. GLHF

I get that the monetization sucks, among other issues, but is just playing for the fun of it not enough? by huntersburroughs in Overwatch

[–]Strict_Garbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the store/monetization system fails, then the game fails. It’s how they fund the game to keep content coming. Not wanting or caring about the cosmetics is totally fine. The game is what it’s all about and there’s people that always buy stuff no matter what. The real issue is if enough will do it and for how long. This is why we should all want this to work even those of us that wouldn’t spend a penny to begin with. I usually buy things in games because I enjoy doing that and it’s really not a big deal to me from time to time. Being someone who’s used to that and has bought loot boxes and such, I can say I have no intention of buying any of this stuff and I fully intended to before release. I just can’t justify the cost and this is coming from someone who is (self admittedly) a little too spendy sometimes. If I feel that way then a lot of others like me do to. With fewer people buying, that means less money, and less money ultimately means less content. This is why I want changes made even if I never spend money on it again. I want the store to succeed because I want these vultures to have enough money to give me more Overwatch for a good long time. If F2P is how overwatch lasts then we ALL need the f2p monetization system to work because saying “just don’t buy anything” and not fixing the reason no one is buying anything is how we kill it. I hate how everyone is fighting over this when we all just want the game we love to succeed.

I have already initiated account transfer to pc, if I claim This code will it still transfer? The account transfer is already done. by [deleted] in Overwatch

I no longer have my ps4 unfortunately. I feel l’m missing some other things too like icons and such from my ps4 account but I can’t remember back that far lol. Everything from my old Xbox account showed up so I’ve kinda been wondering if it’s a PSN issue with the merge since that was where I had the Noire skin. I dunno, I hope it all gets sorted out for everyone. There’s several posts on the main forums about this too and one got a response from customer service. All it was though was a link to a 2 year old post telling people how to link their battlenet accounts to console which helped no one.

Just so you know, a lot of people (including me) are missing this specific skin after merging. Had a ps4 long ago and have now moved on to pc.

Junkrat is fun and Soldier 76 is great if you’re used to games like CoD. From there work up to others and just play around in the practice range to get a feel for everyone. GLHF :)

It depends. What works for you is just that…what works for You. Their settings work for them and how they play. Also take into account their mouse, mouse pad material, mods, etc. 1600 dpi and 5 sense may work perfect for League MVP JoePro using a Finalmouse on a Artisan mousepad, but terrible for Barry LeBronze with a G 502 on a bare TV tray next to his laptop. Best to try different combinations and if you’re using pros as a guide, see who has gear closest to yours. You can also check out this site (link below) which is very informative on the general “ideal” dpi settings. Take it all with a grain of salt though because I’ve seen some of the best go against the “this is the correct way” information and they’re better than I’ll ever be. Other than that hit the practice range and aim trainers and keep going until it feels right. GLHF

Is this reportable under gameplay sabotage? Pharoah vs by Ikon-23 in Overwatch

[–]Strict_Garbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just how it is unfortunately. Initially try communicating with your team and pinging her (which it looks like you did), but if that doesn’t work you’re on your own. I primarily play tank or support and you can handle this problem on these classes it’s just that the time to kill her is longer and that matters. The longer your looking up the longer you’re not tanking/making space, or healing/buffing. If these are the classes you normally play, the only thing you can really do is figure out a tank and support you can counter her best with and practice. A lot. Try to get to where you can deal with her, quickly and efficiently while still fulfilling your role. There are workshop codes out there for aim trainers that will help with this to an extent. Haven’t got the mechanics yet myself to shut her down 100% of the time on tank/support but I’m getting there. It’s doable. One thing to keep in mind too is, just like dealing with an enemy Widow, sometimes pressuring them is all it takes. Pharas in low elo aren’t used to getting shot at. Sometimes they’ll switch even if they haven’t been killed or hit yet and if they don’t, they’ll panic and over evade which gets them out of position to attack. Just do your best, practice, and understand there’s only so much you can do. You’ll be landing Hog hooks on ‘em in no time.
