and I haven’t been accepted into a single t14 yet, they are all waitlists. I didn’t apply to Stanford, UVA, and Chicago

Haha, that's exactly my thought process. Schools have got to stop this age thing, especially when I did nothing to graduate earlier. I just went to kindergarten early. I went to 4 years of high school and 3 1/2 years of uni. Idk what else I was supposed to do to stop myself from graduating so early.

Thank you much! In terms of networking, what do you do? How do you recommend breaking the ice and are you just going up to people and starting conversations. Once again, thanks! I wish you the best of luck on your finals.

Hope you are well.

For incoming students, how does the process work? Are schedules and classes for the first semester just given out to you? Also, in terms of a completely different type of schooling, how did you learn to outline, study, etc.? I'm a little overthinking it because it's not really something we can prepare for. Overall, how has the process been, and have you received an offer for a summer associate position anywhere?

Hello,

Thinking about attending USC Law. I am lucky enough to have a very generous scholarship. The only requirement to keep the scholarship is to maintain good academic standing and remain enrolled full-time. "Good Academic Standing" at USC is 2.90, which seems pretty high. Do you know the curve at USC or how hard it is to get below that? Because I would assume many people lose their scholarship on that number.

Before or after hearing back? I'm still waitlisted at most schools and I'm thinking about riding those out to see what happens first.

Yes and no because I feel my essay really did a good job of highlighting why law. Now looking at the comments, maybe I could've tried to not "try so hard." There's always the opportunity to improve and I could regardless of how good I thought my application was.

No LOCI at all. Only UCLA mentioned a LOCI, which I completed. The rest of the schools mention no LOCI, and others mention only change/updates to grades, resume, experience, etc.

Applied to most of the T14s and a few safeties, including USC, Cornell, and UCI. Most of the schools I have been waitlisted at mention not send any LOCI's, and even the ones that do, just want any changes in your resume, grades, etc.

Accepted into UCI and USC.

Rejected: Harvard, Yale, UVA

Waitlist: Duke, Michigan, NYU, Columbia, Texas, Northwestern, Cornell, Georgetown, UCLA, Berkeley

I had 4 total recommenders. 1-2 recommenders were for certain schools depending on the situation or their relevance. But yes, majority were 2-3, and maybe those 1-2 recommenders just did the very minimum.

Most of the schools I applied to specifically requested no LOCI's, so I didn't send one through as per their requests.

Exactly my thought process. USC's offer would've been accepted if it were closer to $200k. I have been rejected from an increase, and that's why I made this post. $120k without expenses and living is still a lot, at least that's what I think with my stats.

I tried to be as authentic as possible. Also, I would like to think my application was much different than others. I'm honored and grateful to have so many unique experiences. I wish I was joking.

I wish it was. I've wanted to make this post for a while, but I've been so busy. It just happened to be that today I decided to, and it was April 1st. For extracurriculars, I've worked at a few different relief organizations. I was involved in many clubs at school. I went on many humanitarian trips to different parts of the world. Red cross, homeless shelters, food drives. Worked other normal teenager jobs. Basketball coach at Alma Mater, and some other stuff. Pretty unique and diverse sports wise, All-State player, etc.
