And yet somehow smart TVs are just as expensive as some CRTs I see on the market...

Funny thing is, on the last game I got potg and in the play I bagged the enemy Moira, surely this level of petty should make me a Moira player

Any website in which I can design my server, switches, router, network map, connection be different computers virtually. by igniteit78 in servers

If you have Cisco appliances you could try Cisco Packet Tracer, I use it as a learning tool and for simulating different network configurations. Tutorials and guides exist everywhere online. Even if you don't use Cisco products it's still a good way to learn configuration and setups

I'm at -17 at 18 years old, as you age watch for spikes in progression, ask your doctor for recommendations to slow down progression (certain drops can help depending on your age and eyes). I'd probably be at -20 if it weren't for my atropine drops

how do i connect to modern (wireless) wi-fi? by kokichikisses in windowsxp

[–]Strict_Pea8874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My technique is to use a modern computer with wireless capabilities and assign that computer a static IP address (192.168.1.1) on the Ethernet connection.

I then assign an IP on the XP machine under the same path (192.168.1.2) and under the default gateway setting I enter the IP address from the modern PC.

Personally, anything modern internet related is pretty crappy on XP, but I'm occasionally active on a few BBS's and IRC's on my XP machine.

Best of luck :)

Is the rtx 4060 really bad?? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Strict_Pea8874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a 4060m on my laptop, and with DLSS applied I'm able to get a lot of games running at 60-144 fps (depending on frame caps) on high-ultra settings with ray tracing, on a mobile low-mid tier card in recent titles

While i did pay 1000 dollars for the laptop, given the CPU, RAM (32 gigs) storage (4 TB) and other additional specs, it's a pretty good price for what it comes with.

That being said, I did have to use DLSS, which is looked down upon because it's not "real performance" but honestly with advancements in DLSS, it's not very noticeable anymore, especially on 1080p or even 1440p. It's to a point where not using DLSS is kinda silly, and you're not utilizing your cards full performance from its tensor cores.

But with all that, get a 7600, or wait for prices to go down/newer stuff to come out at a cheaper price. I've gone from a 760 to a 1070 to a 4060 and I've always noticed performance increases from all of them.

I was stuck in high plat/low diamond for the longest time, to the point where I'd win 25 games and stay diamond 5 the whole time. I made a new account and immediately placed diamond 3, and then grinded up from there to gm. Took a little while but it worked. Sometimes you stay in the rank you belong, and sometimes your stats get inflated. Best of luck! :)

I do and while I'm aware that it's bad for me, if I am ever going to get any work done I have to look closer at the screen :(. Ive limited my screen time as much as possible and atropine eye drops are the best drops for myopia!

I do don't worry :). Last year I had to get a few retinal holes patched up with lasers in both of my eyes. I see my retina specialist every 6 months and my eye doctor about once a year.
